If SE were serious about RMT and gil sellers they would have some portion of their staff use active measures to ban people. GM's pretending to be players and contacting these folks would be well within their right and would allow them to verify that the transactions are RMT.

We can openly post parses now with no consequences? No, we can't, so they most certainly do act on parsing.

The claim is SE can't do anything because they don't have hard proof. They don't have hard proof with parsing either, yet no one will risk posting one with unknowns, so why is discretion used with one ToS violation and not the other? Because it's not a matter of can't, but want: There are many more players that use parsers than there are those that advertise like in the image in the OP, so they let the latter slide. I expect them to eventually do something about the PF ads, but not for some time. Look how long it took to be able to report chat spam bots in a timely fashion.

The devs literally watched Ultimate streams with parsers shown and did nothing against any of the players in those parties. They’re well aware players parse; as long as you don’t advertise it or harass players with it, they do nothing to you. People on the OF have repeatedly and openly admitted they parse; they aren’t banned from the game yet.

Again, why are you making a thread not even about parsing, about parsing? Is this the new trend with posters nowadays? Hijacking threads to discuss parsers? They do nothing about the advertisements because they don’t openly advertise “We’ll take your real $$$ for UwU clears”. No in-game proof means no consequence. The sellers are smart enough to know that, and SE has shot themselves in the foot with doing anything about this by stating they won’t take screenshots of external or third-party app chats as evidence.
