Im hoping that they remove the max 8 leve limit a day.

right now the best way to level if you dont have a party for whatever reason (all your friends quit, they have jobs, you woke up at 3am and you cant sleep, your friends are a million levels ahead of you) feels like
1)Do leves
2) play a different game while waiting for behests to pop.
3)do behests
4) repeat 2.
there is no engaging storyline there... or even a difficult fight.
edit: or browse the forum while waiting for behests to pop, which is what i'm doing right now.
No, that's not what I'm saying. I thought I said it plain enough that it wouldn't need spelling out.
If all I'm going to do is read or watch a cutscene, then it is NOT worth it.
If I'm going to read or watch a cutscene AND get XP/SP, it's worth it.
I do not prefer leveling to story, I prefer to level while I'm getting that story.
Your not the only one tired of the same leaves. They defenetly need to add much more leaves with diferent unique objectives (And not just copy, paste, rename the same leaves). Gil rewards are ok. Atleast the rewards arent useles items. I prefer Guild marks(atleast for now while i still have something 2 buy with themWhile the addition of quest are great for content, for me, they are lacking in that I was hoping that it was going to be a new way to level. I think the leves are fine, but I am tired, very tired, of the same leves and even the same type of leve. There is NO variation, ok honestly there is LITTLE variation. Since right now its the only means we have to level, beside solo/party grinding, I wish they would add to it. Along with the bimonthly/monthly addition of quest SE should also add in new leves. Also, does anyone really enjoy the rewards??? Gil great, but what to buy really??? Equipment, beside the weapons to unlock all the jobs, my stuff is better, and if its not I have more then enough gil to buy more, and guild marks, well I made the mistake of leveling a lot of jobs so now I get offered guildmarks for jobs sitting at level 10, while I haven't seen a CON guildmark in days. Please fix this SE!!! I think this holds back FFXIV a LOT!!!, but lack of things to buy with guild marks thats another topic).
"Real qusts"? you mean the kind that give xp/sp and alot of junk items for completing? Then hell no this isn't wowi prefer the curent rewards. Besides leave mobs give good exp already, so there is no need for extra xp/sp reward.

Only problem is, the quests we have so far don't give either XP/SP OR storyline. Well, maybe a tiny bit, but it's hardly even close to the zilart quests in quality, and nowhere near the epic cutscenes and stories of post CoP quests. I'd personally rather have an incredible storyline and pathetic rewards, than a quest with no real storyline but 5000 SP, for instance. Of course, if it gives both, even better! But to me the most memorable quests weren't getting my CoP ring in the upper Jeuno tavern, or my sky gear from the uncursing NPC in San d'oria, but the epic closing cutscene in CoP to the song "Distant worlds", reminising over the grand adventures and epic fights with my linkshell I had, the utter hilarity of "Three Men and a Closet", or the adorable quest of "Babban Ny Mheillea", with a final surprise of a title that made lycopodiums dance for me and granted a regen effect.
I agree that monsters in quests should give SP/loot/whatever, similar to how FFXI was done, but all I ask is that storyline doesn't get sacrificed for "oh, look, shiny item!". Still, I have confidence, as I have done almost all of Bastok, Windurst's, and Jeuno's quests, and noticed how the pre-Zilart quests were pretty much the same as FFXIV, being "kill X amount of mobs" with little storyline, and how a sharp jump in quality came for each expansion. I trust the same will happen here, as the storytellers first get the time to craft actual lore for the game, and then develop a solid base to build on that lore.
And see, I'd be happy with that. If the mobs at least gave me XP/SP while killing them for the quest, then I'd be more than happy because I'd see some advancement still happening while taking the detour for these quests.Only problem is, the quests we have so far don't give either XP/SP OR storyline. i hope that i'm given the option to be able to level solo as well. Haven't had the time to even log in to find friends or even PARTY, behest? i get bored after 1-2 behest in 4 days. Dont expect me to play Behest everyday. Im not a robot.
The leve system is a perfect foundation for what everyone wants.
First people need leves everyday. 24 hours Leve reset. That takes care of quantity.
Now on to quality. Players want variety. Suggestions:
1.) Survival leves: Player must survive against waves of enemies for a set time.
2.) Exploration: Players must advance to a set position, aggressive mobs make clearing the path difficult.
3.) Battle Regimen tutorial: Low-level Leve where players must complete 10 battle Regimen to complete (include on screen instructions for how to do this)
4.) Escort: NPC must be protected while traveling to a set destination
5.) NM leve Bosses
If Regional Leves were both more consistantly available and more interesting, players would enjoy them more.

GuildLeve are for exp/sp/reward → not need "new type" or "variety", just increase number, 8 → 16/20, or decrease reset, 36h → 24h, or both of them.
Quest are for stroy → need cutscene.
I'm sorry for my bad English
