I don't think that's a position to particularly strive for.
I like the idea of having more iconic spells but if you make any one of the healers unique inasmuch as they bring magic defense - that's either going to be mandatory for some fights or useless.
I think WHM should have more utility spells. Rescue could have been WHM exclusive. Another big Benediction type spell perhaps. Make Asylum could have a small added damage buff component to it for players inside - that sort of thing.
