Even so, the suggestions are still goods ones for introduction gil sinks into the game. Some have even come to fruition.

For buying anima, I always liked this suggestion:

1k gil replenishes 1 anima point. 2k for the next. 4k for the next and so forth. Each successive point just gets more expensive. Replenishing a few anima points costs relatively little, 4 points costs 15k while 8 points costs 255k. Then, every 24 hours or so it gets reset and the price drops back down to 1k.

They can come up with some excuse that forcing anima a body is a dangerous affair and requires increasingly more complex rituals and exotic components the more you try to infuse yourself with it lest you want to explode.
