List of Suggestions to improve the game. Triple triad or Tetra Master Do you like it?

Triple Triad could also be a decent gil sink.

Have card shops in all 3 cities. Each shop sells starter packs and booster packs that feature NPCs and monsters from that region.

Starter Pack 1: 5,000 gil - Contains 10 random low level cards, and one random medium level card.

Booster Pack 1: 50,000 gil - Contains 5 random low to medium-high level cards.

Booster Pack 2: 150,000 gil - Contains 5 random medium to medium-high level cards, with a chance for 1-2 of them being high level cards.

The best cards have to be "Monster Carded" from high rank mobs, or won from a high rank NPC, or as tournament prizes.

This is by far the best and most viable mini-game that could be implemented into the game. And its not even something they would have to balance that much since the game and rules already made.

Yes! This thread needs 50k views, and SE needs to put me on the development team!

The way to build community and player interaction is to actually increase the number of ways they can interact and compete with each other.

The more ways people can show off and compare e-peens (leaderboards), the more they will be involved in their character, their world, and their community.

I'm all for card games and gambling. I wouldn't mind betting gil and equipment in a game of blackjack and texas holdem FF style.

I suggested this a few times. A game like Tetra Master would be a great highlight for a future expansion (an in-game addition not a separate MMO like before). Players could collect cards based on monsters/NPCs/items and cards could drop from certain monsters or be obtained from quests or NPCs. This would give another really large thing to do in the game.

I think I heard mention before that they weren't really keen on introducing gambling into the game with other players, but there might be the ability to have games with NPCs for different types of rewards, and playing with other players to level up cards or something, maybe rankings, etc.

Still, give me the Triple Triads please.

As some sort of parallel mini-game it would be nice. Vanguard had a card-based diplomacy system and EQ 2 has a nice cards game (with RMT!).

But please, this is all but a priority.

This. I've been saying for years that they need to add a collectible card game to FFXI/FFXIV. This is my number one desired feature.
