Letter to MR Yoshi: Why parses system is destroying the ffxiv world.

Brilliant idea, we get rid of the logs, but since without calculated mathematics to determine DPS, they will then rely on which job causes the biggest burst and how frequently it happens. Before parsing got popular during ARR, there was a large group of people who thought MNK was useless because it did sustained small hits instead of big bursty hits like DRG.

People will always "discriminate" - you want people to discriminate based on factual data and not just gut feelings or misinterpretation of how a job works.

Also, if we don't have Parser or Logs to determine who the problem child of the group is, parties will just disband or stop playing the content altogether until we have a band of people we can verify are up to standard. Having no accountability means more troll groups where people just leave because someone out of the 8 isn't pulling their weight or multiple people aren't and there's no way to verify.



Yeah, you're factually below-average and I didn't even say what color you were. By the way, as you're an "expert players" who is better than me? I don't raid at all, I have no way to discriminate against you for any sort of color parse. I just look at your ability usage and see that you're not playing up to par. The fact that a specific parses is low doesn’t say nothing about my SMN, every situation is different and I can’t remeber certainly each run...I am a good SMN doesn’t matter what the parses says!! My rotation deal 5790dps on is own but in a raid you never know. I never had problem with DPS check with groups even if someone was dealing less than 3k so I don’t see realistic what you say mate

Healing is much more complex than just do pew pew pew and feel great when you just follow what other ppl say to you.
Still I think God tier player are Japanese or Korean as always and we can’t compete lol

Show your work, you won't get full points if you don't show your work. You say the Garuda opener, but you need to provide it. That wasn't a clever point they made, that was common sense and probably where you're losing a lot of damage.

Also about healing: I've been healing since ARR as my main, you can't teach me anything I don't already know. It's a boring role where you keep people above 0 hp and DPS until you need to prevent people from going below 1 hp again.

I'm not going to even respond to that racebaiting remark about player origins.

Anyway we got out of topic again, the discussion is not about SMNs, classes or DPSing but players and their greed and I repeat my suggestion to keep LOGS RUN separated from weekly clears, I mean if you guys are obsessed with logs why play with players like me that DON’T CARE? You won’t benefit from it! Same concept works viceversa. Btw I don’t need parses to increase my self esteem like some of you lol

Because as we've told you like 25 times, you poor soul. There is no such thing as this player greed that you made up and if you want to keep FFlog runs separate from weekly clears, then make your own party and state your intent. But, you're not going to listen and continue to attack people instead.

Literally the only thing that matters as a dps class is what a parser says. If a parser shows that your dps is low you are not a good SMN. If you cant upkeep dps without eating the floor or dropping uptime while doing mechanics then you are not a good SMN. If your magic special secret rotation actually does 5790 dps then yes it will show in a raid and people will know. Parsers dont just selectively remove player damage for funzies.

Im a bit confused..where does this number suddenly comes from?Did you parse?SimCraft?If the latter then with what values did you Sim?
And like the name said is it simulation..means thats what you can do with perfect play and under perfect circumstances but without doing mechanics.
Its like comparing your chess-skills to a chess-computer and come to the conclusion your skills are equal.
