Nah, really one of those utility jobs messing up is only about 100 dps on one dps. Even the coveted trick attack only adds 400-600ish to the entire raid, that's split among all 8 members. Of course dps take a higher chunk of said 600 but tanks take a fair share. That can be easily overlooked and you might blame it on bad rng or something, but if you see a blm/sam 500 dps lower than they should be, you know instantly, and thus why people find it easier to form a stigma against them.

Most of the people you'll find in pf are trash, but it's only clearly visible when it's a pure dps job.

BLM is fine as it is as long as players trying to clear things early understand SMN and RDM are superior in making progression faster.

SAM actually doesn't hinder prog as much people think so. It will hunder prog as much as a DRG will when they're replacing NIN and/or MNK which are melees with tools to fasten progression. So I think SAM hate for progression is a bit biased because its a weaker job in speedrunning and maximum party damage standards.

You'll see good groups clearing early understanding the power of some skills for progression running MNK for mantra, NIN for aggro tools and RDM/SMN for raise. Outside of this scenario, if you aren't speedrunning, blaming other people for their job choice makes no sense but to try to make them play something that makes your own personal damage higher.

Yes, every job can clear content. Some make the clear come faster. In savage you can kind of play whatever you want, the big impact from party compositions only really shows on Ultimates nowadays.

This is so much true. It's easier to percieve players being bad at pure number outputting jobs like SAM BLM WHM.
