That latter is exactly why V4S/V8S are a requirement—if you can’t down Neo or God, like heck you’ll beat Bahamut or Ultima.

I disagree. Ultimate is designed for hardcore raiders; the people what want additional challenges. Not for people that cannot clear a Savage tier. If you want to do Ultimate, then focus on clearing the relevant tier first instead of jumping into the hardest content of the game head-first. If you haven’t cleared Neo or God, you won’t be prepared. Hell, even those who have cleared aren’t prepared for it; Ultimate is a big step above current-tier Savage.

Really it should just have a really high ilevel restriction instead of clearing o4/8s

Besides, item level requirement is already i340 for UCoB, and i370 for UwU. But you need a full premade to even queue, which automatically bypasses it. You can’t assign it an item level higher than the current tier, anyways. So this “solution” wouldn’t work. Keep it how it is.

The harm would be the complaints that follow afterwards demanding the content be nerfed or made more accessible because they couldn’t clear it. Happens with MSQ trials the minute one appears that’s even remotely challenging; it would happen with Ultimate if it was unlocked. There’s no reason to have it unlocked; there is a reason for it to stay locked.

I AGREE. I personally think savage and ultimate content should be ilvl synced so people have to get it the FAIR way that everyone else did it.

It is time to end the idea that everyone deserves everything for nothing.

Im all for them being locked when they are recent content but by end of stormblood they should be unlocked for everyone to try and fail

I know that they won’t; but that doesn’t mean I’m not annoyed with the constant cries to nerf things that aren’t even hard.

They’ll be unlocked come 5.0 anyways, so then people can go in then. Just like everything else in 4.0 will be able to be unsynced.

I don’t care about PvP mounts. Considering I have none of them. So I personally don’t want to make anything with regards to them easy. This argument isn’t even about them, and I’m not going to get into it again with you.
