[Speculation] Nael Van Darnus in Dissidia NT!?

So the Dissidia NT developers will be announcing the 3rd dlc character on July 10th.

Kujiraoka: “There’s a character from around the split, so it’s not like all the later half characters are recent characters”. This was NOT about the 3rd dlc character, but about all “later half” characters in general. The tweet (not official) mentions VIII or IX being likely. Source: Official stream in January


So..what I’m thinking is...
Nael/Eula Van Darnus never had a voice actor before and was perceived to be a man

2-3 major components, Unique moveset, carries/possesses something unique could be referring to the Dues Darnus form

That would actually make a lot of sense - I've always maintained that the Rivenroad would be a perfect battlefield for Dissidia, and this is the biggest proof yet. Although, Yoshi apparently gave his blessing in the past for Zenos to possibly appear as well, so... I guess they went back on that.

I just hope they not only make available Rise of the White Raven as BGM but also Tempest as well (and maybe even Meteor which is essentially a remix of that later leitmotif, but that's stretching things a bit ).

The third character they are adding did not have a voice actor before, so it can’t be Quistis. (DFOO and WOFF)
Technically FF8 already has 3 reps if Laguna makes a return.

Quina is largely possible, but it’s a genderless character.

I'm on the wall about this...I liked Dissidia for what it was, but the way Team Ninja is doing the DLC is somewhat irritating, considering how often they pushed out DoA stuff for years.

Darnus is a stretch considering most people who play 14 don't even know who she is, let alone people who have never looked at the game before. The next 14 rep, if we get one, will be someone easily recognisable like Zenos or another Scion.

Nael is cool and everything, but she's a nobody in the sea of FF characters to pick from for a Dissidia game.

It'll probably be Rinoa, next. That seems to be the general consensus...which is a shame, since it makes Seifer less likely to show up and Rinoa was the dullest part of FF8 for me.

As for Nael, I suppose it isn't impossible but if XIV is going to have another character from XIV then I'd say Gaius, Varis or Zenos would fit better. Nael is, after all, two different characters.
