no, it's very relevant because of out all of the jobs, WAR is the only one that doesnt lose DPS when applying or maintaining it. NIN loses an aeolean every third combo due to needing to reapply slashing and SAM does its opener without slashing for quite a while.

Holmgang blows the other tank invuls out of the water in any content that matters. This is not up for debate. Holmgang also makes WAR's mitigation kit way stronger thanks to it allowing the WAR to constantly have some form of mitigation while Holmgang covers any hard hitting damage every 3 minutes.

Do you want to know what's bull? 5x decimates guaranteeing a crit/direct hit. If you seriously think PLD would be broken with more Aoe but WAR is fine with Inner release decimates then I think you need to take another look at the numbers between a PLD and WAR in aoe situations.
