How about an Aetheryte in Coerthas Central so I can stop doing the 500 mile dash to the Observatorium every time I level Dragoon?

AETHERYTES
AETHERYTES EVERYWHERE
But seriously, I'm all for some more strategically placed Aetherytes for gathering/crafting purposes.

We need less teleporting, not more!

This is always my thought with people like that. Why inconvenience the whole playerbase because you alone can't restrain yourself from using the teleport if it's there? Just run if you feel that's the way it should be.
You can have too much of a good thing. I don't think North Shroud is big enough to require a 2nd Aetheryte. With 2-star speed it doesn't even take 20 seconds to run to the Ixali from Fallgourd and it takes about another 20 seconds to reach Hyrstmill from there. Have we really reached the point where we're asking for another Aetheryte to save us having to run for ~40 seconds? There are most certainly several zones that would benefit from having a 2nd stone somewhere, but I don't think N.Shroud is one of them.
PS: I thought the character limit was increased to 3000? But here I am getting digged for having 1007 characters. What gives, SE?
With this character's death, the thread of prophecy remains intact.
Yeah, I've never really thought North Shroud needed it really, especially after the mount speed increase. Other than CCH I think all the ARR zones are good on aetherytes. Also, I don't think the character increase is actually live.

Id rather have other ways of dealing with transportation instead of just quick teleports. But the player base of this game cant handle anything that takes time so its a lost cause.
Good for you. I have hundreds of free teleports, and it takes me half the time to get where I'm going /shrug. Doesn't change the fact that you want everyone to conform to YOUR gameplay style, instead of allowing other people to have what they want and you just run anyways. This would impact you exactly zero, but you can't be satisfied with other people having what they want.
Alternatively, I would be onboard with them adding flying to the old zones, as this would solve any issues with the aetherytes in 2.0 areas as they aren't that large. But afaik, they said they aren't doing that, so aetherytes are the next best thing.
