Harassment/Blacklist/Friends-list issue

In light of the Sexual Harassment story relating a "community leader" sexually harassing people....


Its probably time Square-Enix made it so when you blacklist someone it removes you from their friends list (if applicable) as well as disables the ability for the blacklisted person to search to see if you are online using "player search" feature.

Its probably time Square-Enix made it so when you blacklist someone it removes you from their friends list (if applicable) as well as disables the ability for the blacklisted person to search to see if you are online using "player search" feature.

Latter will never be a thing, because it would make search uselessly slow by having to check every player from a search query against every player in the data center's blacklist.

The Search is invoked for multiple things:
1) Party list order
2) Player Search
3) Party finder
4) Novice Network
5) Friends List
6) FC list
7) Linkshell list

It may also be invoked for things like the mailbox.
