Permanent collaborations

Huh? Kind of make sense if they are temporary events. If you step back and look at the big picture they are temporary events to get publicity. Why should people who took their time to actually do the work be slapped in the face for those who were to lazy to do so. If people really want the items place them on mogstation. To those who lack common sense think about it the following ways. Why would those collaborations stay permanent if theya re ot tied to the main story and two, Do you really think Shantotto has nothing better to do than stay in this world rather than continue her research. Should Lightning be stuck in this world even though she has her own problems? No.

Now whole new rewards and events and rewards would be acceptable. Old ones no thank you.

Lazy... I see how quickly ppl always judges. Not everyone were lazy (If I were, I wouldn't got the Yokai 2nd mount at the event's first time). Maybe some ppl could be lazy, but MAYBE (like me with the Shantotto event) some ppl started to play the game after the last time an event took place. Ppl who would like to play it not just for the rewards, but for the experience of the story. I could buy the Shantotto minion from MS yeah, but it would just be a doll delivered by a Moogle...

I'm asking to turn these collabs into permantent, just like the Garo, or how it looks the MH will be. I don't think collab should be the same word as "seasonal". If you read carefully, I tried to avoid saying the word "event". We already have the seasonal ones (Moonfire, Heavensturn, Hatching...), so I ask to make just for the collabs to be turned from events to permanent, with new rewards for those which rewards are already in MS.

Don't worry. That poster is always against everything that would give players any chance of getting something that right now is exclusive. Be it items or story. He's just the kind of person that goes "I did it when it popped up, so you either should have too or you lose.".

Seeing as your idea gives people the option to do them (exactly like he or others did, not even any easier, exactly the same), he clearly didn't even think about what he was talking about. He just noticed "bring back the temporary events" and went negative.

Sounds more like a personal problem. If you play the game should be no reason to miss it unless do to RL. Otherwise website still up with updates and events -.-;

Certain things I could understand PvP Garo is one. Things tied to other things like fates are really just a waste of time. Focus on new content instead. What is the point anyways? Just to collect things? Collaboration events ( hence limited time ) are used to entice consumers to rejoin. So yes being lazy would be one reason. Been since v1.0 but hey I still love this game and FFXI. Maybe in the future once it's dead it may happen just to keep people playing.
