Ultimate hiatus feedback

IMO, Ultimate is the best thing was brought to the game, and at the moment basically the only challenging content in here.
I had no chance to get into UCoB in time, but now progging UwU and it makes me so happy, I can't even describe. We really need it! At least one more Ultimate fight in current expansion.

Just like how I was glad Gordias was difficult despite never getting past 1% enrage on a3s, I'm glad that ultimate exists despite the fact that I only had time to beat Twintania's phase. Just watching twitch with all the progression was among my most entertaining moments subbed to your game.

There are players from other MMO's like World of Warcraft, that say that even with Ultimate there isn't enough "mythic content" in this game. So it's baffling that instead of adding more fights, and more frequently, you're actually going to be adding less per expansion than we thought. Ultimate felt like you were heading in the right direction, and even I thought that you were just testing the waters to see whether or not you could add more challenging fights more frequently.

I know it costs a ton of time and energy from the devs to make these fights but I swear to you it's more than worth it if the consistent viewership of FFXIV on twitch is anything to go by.

I too was very saddened to hear that Ultimate is going to be put on a hiatus. Working through these fights is a really enjoyable experience and the amount of support it has gotten from the community is huge. I feel like the raiding scene is the healthiest it's ever been right now thanks to there being content for every kind of player to enjoy. I don't want to see the same kind of content draught we had for 3.5 so please reconsider and give us a new ultimate for 4.5!

I've never had the chance to complete UCoB and have yet to prog UWU, but they represent my end game goals in which I finally feel I have to put a great deal of effort in order to beat, and while you can argue that I can keep being busy progging these fights, I can see how for the top layer of the playerbase, not having a new Ultimate fight to smash their heads on is tentamount to having no new interesting content for 6+ months with little reasons to keep playing. Granted, they represent the minority of active players, but they're both very dedicated to the game and - whether we like it or not - tend to shape the rest of the raiding community. This is not to mention the surprising success FFXIV has encountered on streaming platforms during both Ultimate releases, despite its genre. I say those fights make for a big part of the game current's success, and I feel Ultimate is a leap towards a healthier community with content catering to every kind of player.

I came late into the ultimate scene yet my team is now moving onto UWU which im sure we will have a lot of fun progging.
It is very likely that if we keep it up just like UCoB we will clear before an hypothetical 3rd Stormblood ultimate.
Week #1 clearable Savage content (day #1 for some teams), yeah... we need to keep them busy !!

I don't think I'll ever get into Ultimate, but I tell you I reconsidered my raiding haitus because of it.

UwU was my favorite part of 4.3 so far, even if I wasn't taking part of it, I didn't need to do it to enjoy it, I loved hanging out with the community during the race.

I hope they will reconsider this decision as well.

2) I'd like that ppl don't forget how there have ppl that, while beign favorable to ultimate in this thread, have been questioning the existance of ultimate and also there have been ppl outrigh jating the fact that something is made for the 1%.
As such I'd refrain anyone to say that noone of the community ,raiders or not. spoke against ultimate because that's not true or I've imagined myself costantly having to say that ultimate is good for the game.

Dont worry I dont forget that. Like I wrote, it would be a lie to say that I would be really upset to lose a third one. I just feel that the reasons for this are a bit off. Since this is content for the 1% of the playerbase, they honestly should also just listen to feedback from this group. And I cant just see how anyone from that part of group grew tired of it. And if its on their end they should just say so and not say that its the community who feel that way. (Or its another mistranslation)

Was not talking about you and I won't say more, but as said there's the possibilities that they meant internal feedback since idd there no feedback from the intended group to stop doing them, however if the feedback was from the community then that's idd another story

It's worth noticing that the new ppl in this threads are the reason why some ppl say that the forum is a small set of the community since some of the new ppl here aren't really new to the game lol
