Actually did reflect on it. Mostly because it doesnt work on guys. The fishnets for example work on women because female attractiveness tends to be centered around smooth, and narrow/ less defined musculature. The fishnets emphasize both of those really well. But male attractiveness is more about musculature that is wider and more dynamic, and the fishnets generally work against them. It softens and smooths what makes them attractive. The bustiers are designed to prop up a woman's chest and emphasize it, while ends up breaking up the male's pecs and hiding the abs. The ears really don't matter so much, neither do the cuffs. Heels...idk, I think the thing in game is that animators just ignore how they make you walk anyways, and they don't really factor in how many inches it adds to a man's height.

A comparable thing for women is if you remember the eighties, and the fixation on shoulder pads. Trying to thicken and bulk up the female form removes the attractiveness factor a bit. In game, with us its the garo armor, in which you can only tell the character is female by their stance. The Warrior armor with its thick thighs especially.

I mean, people do have to realize that equality doesn't mean we are all interchangeable. It's not a matter of just slapping on the same clothes, there is a lot of work by designers in how the clothes hang on a person and how they are tailored to a man or woman's shape that makes them attractive. I think we had a good example with the recent male "skinny jeans" fad, in which they tried to take jeans which were tailored more for women and broaden them to men, and very few men could pull them off without looking ridiculous. Especially since the trend was for a patriarch's beard as well!
