Yes most game companies do, hence my example of Battlefield 3 in the OP. My point is that if they're "forced" to charge a higher rate for European players, they could "Good Guy SE" and give us something for it.

By the time payment is due the euro will have collapsed. Don't worry about it too much.

    That's still a discount, duh -_-.

We have high education fees too, but we also have higher living costs, pay more money for our rent, way more taxes, etc.
And don't even start about wages, they are pretty low for many people.
W are not more "rich" than people in America, so I don't think it's fair to bill us an extra $4.

That's what they said in 2008 too..to argue with the stability of a currency is not making any sense here.

What does this mean? It means that steps are being taken around the world so that countries do not have to rely on the American Dollar as the World Reserve Currency. What does this mean for us Americans? It means enjoy the discount while we can. In a few years Americans will not be able to afford to put bread on their table after the cost raises to over $10.00 a loaf. This is not speculation, it is pure fact.

America is facing a crisis that goes far beyond any terror threat. As it stands now, America stays afloat by being able to print money to pay our debts. Once the rest of the world stops relying on the American dollar it will be useless and thus opens the door for a World Bank and World Government. Everything we take for granted now such as food, clothing, energy, jobs, housing, and the list goes on. These things will be very difficult to obtain unless you are part of the elite society of Americans (large corporation owners / politicians) who have the capital in other world currencies to continue to live a somewhat normal life while the rest of the country suffers.

Robert Downey Jr said it best...

"I'm The Dude Playing the Dude Disguised as Another Dude"

It's an MMO, let people be whoever they want to be.

How could my original post possibly start a flame war regarding European and American living standards? All I'm saying is that if they're going to charge us a higher fee, they could be nice about it and give us something for it.

{Um...} it's the current EUR to USD conversion rate, perhaps you should re-read the OP.

The difference is essentially the equivalent of one single-player game per year, especially since the difference is potentially even bigger when 2.0 is released and the discount is removed for all regions.

They do it because of the VAT. There is no room to adjust. Otherwise the same would apply to US as well.

Everything they could give us has its' own value. They might as well lower the fee accordingly if it came down to that, since there really is little difference.
