I just feel like they are making things difficult to cut out people with disability, or even people who just can't get there due to skill or enough time to train in their job.

Or they want the concluding boss to a large story arc to not be an absolute joke like Thordan normal mode where you could literally fail half his mechanics and clear without a hitch? It couldn't possibly that.

It's stupid. No one makes videos of barely struggling to play the game because of their disability, nor do you see the tons of people who can't devote every waking hour to a game in order to overcome a handicap through sheer repetition. There's this weird bias to the photogenic overcomers when talking about disabilities, as if every person in a wheelchair can learn to play basketball if they just put their mind to it.

You're misinterpreting the intent. People aren't necessarily saying "because this person overcame x, you should be able to in the same way." They're saying, "this person didn't complain or blame the game because they had a disability. They found a solution that worked for themselves."
