I totally agree. You were the perfect person for pushing some buttons and your reaction says plenty. You dont like something and start right away with ignore or blacklisting, you know easy ways to escape horrible people.... But people who are marked because of your so called *helpfull* logs can be harrassed or even locked out of party`s for being bad that one time. You cannot simply *blacklist or ignore* those people to clear content.

Why do you even care about numbers on fflogs to begin with? If someone approach you in-game to harass you just block and ignore them?

You know, they could get harassed or locked out for a gazillion of other reasons too. Do you really think many parties look up the logs of everybody joining? And you can prevent yourself from getting listed too. Or try to get better parses online. Or do your own parties. There are options. And tbh it's not evil FFlogs fault for proving that some people are just bad at their jobs. You can twist that all you want - but buying the game and paying the sub does not entitle people to clear savage. They still need to put in effort.

You all may say that but now I'm completely opened up to get screwed around with now. I get there is people here that are willing to help eachother out but more often than not I've seen that tool get used for abusive purposes rather than the opposite. Now I need to decide whether not to post here anymore in fear of getting messed around with in-game because some people are now aware who I'am.

Register on FFlogs and hide your logs. Even if anyone uploads anything, it will be private to only you and the person who uploaded it. Unless they share it outside the site, of course. And if they take it upon themselves to do that, well... At least the damage is minimal.
