Not sure but it may have been when 4.3 dropped or around that time. It certainly wasn't this way before but I never experienced this until today. Think there was a thread in the bug forum somewhere.

It's currently bugged. I submitted a thread about it (and a couple other people have as well) a few days ago and it got moved into the accepted bug section. Hopefully it gets fixed soon. I've definitely noticed it popping up in my Trial Roulettes more often lately and it hasn't ended very well.

Just finished Ridorana Lighthouse.
Smack out of the blue, this ast is like 'ew im healing with a whm'
i think: wow, rude but ill let that pass... maybe the guys a good healer and had dd wannabe whms?
First boss goes ok.
Come numbers boss hes dying alot. ok... it happens
Last boss, some other pty tank lost aggro when i was doing aero, then i noticed it wasnt my pty.
I was away from my party so i ran back. The other parties boss decided to follow me.
we wipe.
AST: shouts in alliance 'whm took aggro castin medica II'
i think: ????!!!?? no bish.
i wasnt even casting it, why you making out the tanks aggro loss like I did some sort of super aggro move?
Even if I did cast a medica II a decent tank can take it back easy pie. Or at least me as a tank and every other tanks i know, can.
This is where I start to think this guys not normal.
You dont say those kind of stuff in the beginning, and you dont say those kind of stuff while in pty with your partner healer.
AST: 'you literally ran to us but ok'
i think: duh cause our tanks tanking and you not tossing him heals. who else gonna heal with a dd wannabe ast.
So I stop doing his hated medica. People start dying. he doesnt aoe heal. I raise raise raise. people die more.
From half hp to the end, he did 1 aoe heal.
And im thinking... All these people that complain about medica being used often... at least in raids there may be other people healing for their lack and keeping people alive.
And they, not being the brightest crayon in the box, never notice it. And this guy was one of them.

this AST reminds me of the one I partied with in Rabanastre last night. And im thinking... All these people that complain about medica being used often... at least in raids there may be other people healing for their lack and keeping people alive.

I know I'm a bit rusty with WHM so I didn't mind that he went Diurnal instead of Noct, and given that we have first-timers, extra regen isn't so bad.
I refrained from casting medica II since he's spamming his aspected helios, thought I can the use spot heals and keep my lilies up instead.
what I didn't understand is why he kept putting bole on me, and sometimes even putting aspected benefic when I'm at full health, when we have 2 DPS who kept dying from almost every single mechanic, and himself always getting the condition wrong at Argath.
I actually asked why the bole he just "lol" -_-

I was farming the Drowned City of Skalla for a glamour piece. During my last run of it our healer said they had to go after we pulled the first two packs because they didn't see the time. "DW healers replace fast" they said... In what world? To be fair it was like 2 in the morning where I was. Anyway it was just me a SAM and a RDM and we decided to trek through just the three of us. With my clemency heals, the RDM's heals and the SAM's damage, we made our way through slowly.
Literally when the final boss was at 10% that "Light Party" effect splashed on my screen. We got a healer. Me internally "Awwwh, so THATS how it is?!" Timer was at around 63:00 by the end but it felt like it went on so much longer. I got my coat in the end of that run, so that's a plus. Shout out to the SAM and RDM!

As crazy as the Ridoranna runs have been, this Monty Python reference made this run for me
Look ma I can math, 2+2=17!

Very odd run in cutters cry the other day.
Had a level 38? 36? Whatever the sync is anyway, Arcanist who seemed to think they were the tank. They ran off on the room you can escape from with the sandpit. Keeps telling party to hurry up and move on. Healer got out but tank died on route and myself as a result got oneshotted by about 7/8 mobs.
We reset but keep being killed on route. Healer eventually comes back for us and we just take out the mobs. All the while, Arcanist is shouting to forget them and come to boss, refusing our requests to just come back and run with the party.
Much frustration later with Arcanist we get to final boss, Tank asks them to remove Topaz Carby so he can stop trying to fight for aggro, Arcanist refuses and rushes off to begin boss fight. Retreats when nobody else moves to join. Tank again asks them to swap pet....next thing my screen goes black and I get message saying I've been kicked from party and duty....WTF o.O

I joined trial DR as BLM ten minutes before day change over to see if I can get some tomes. Get into Susano normal. About four people going through cut scenes which included both healers (SCH + WHM). The SCH asks for pointers just as the Diamond Axe WAR mentor pulled. Ah well, we'll make it work.
First knock back and stack mechanic happens on one of the healers. Both healers stack together but don't realize that the common tactic for Susano is to stack on butt after knock back so there's uptime. They stack together and go splat. No DPS res available so we eventually wipe.
Said Diamond Axe mentor then pipes in and says "last pull for me i dont' want t spend two hours on this boss".
Gee, that's a great thing to say from a crown - just perpetuating the stereotype of the toxic mentors there.
A few pointers are given to the healers and we resume again.
I'd like to add that after the initial hate establishment, the MT raid-tier WAR decided it was best to ride DPS stance with two new healers that, and bless their souls, didn't exactly have the best response times based on our first pull.
So, here's a raid-tier mentor WAR who, in their infinite wisdom, decides to make things harder for two new healers in a trial they know nothing about. Yes, I understand DPS is king in the end game optimized situation, but this is Trial DR in Susano - just ride the tank stance and help them out and help them clear the raid - because ya know, you have that mentor crown on your head.
Anyway, we eventually wipe since we lose the SCH and the WHM can't get them back online or keep up with subsequent follow ups on damage and raid busters.
The tank leaves, then the other tank and one other DPS leave. The remaining stick around, we give a few more pointers and call in reinforcements. We get four DPS now but no tank so I tell I'm going to try to rejoin as WAR.
I manage to get back in as WAR and see everyone wiping because I guess some randomly pulled for lulz with no tanks xD During the restart of the fight we get a PLD who joins in prog and we're set to go again.
As a healer main, there were a couple of flinch worthy moments with the HP bars but I chalked that up healer newness and marched on. I just rode Defiance for the entire fight because the less often the healers have to worry about my HP bar, the better we'll be at clearing this fight. We also got a SMN from the DPS reinforcements so I imagine that helped for the one healer death we had in phase 3. Rotated cooldowns for tank busters, the PLD helped with intervention on me during tank busters too, and we sailed into clearing the fight without too much more hassle.
At the end I got no tomes for my troubles but it's always a joy to help people advance through the game. I did end up blacklisting that WAR as I don't want that player to join my PFs with an attitude like that.
