Can We Have Tail Armor Back?

Isn't a cats tail vestigial, wouldn't they just wrap it around their waist or something that shows they have common sense, like olacung the tail under the long skirt not through it.

It's used for balance. You cut the tail off a cat (hypothetically) and they'll have to relearn how to walk and balance without it.
