It does bug me how none of the newer armor models have modifications to accommodate tails.
Even just the little things like the stitching around the tail holes or the little bow on the swimsuits do a lot to make it aesthetically pleasing.

No thanks understand some armor with remove tail like Af2 Drg and evenstar set
But no need to put armor on them

I think alot of people here have a one track mind on what an armor tail would be or look like.
It doesn't have to be fully covered. Just aestheticly pleasing that matches the armor.
For instance. If you were to wear something like Dragoon armor it would be like spiking bracelets with your tail tip covered by a dragon tip piercing.
Idk about you but that sounds cool to me.

Just remember that during 1.0 the tail size was fixed.
To have tail armor back like it was on the Darklight tank gear (1.x version) mean to be ok with the tail will have another size while armored (a fixed standard size for all Miqo'te and Au Ra of the same tribe)

I wouldn't mind tail armor, if done properly (none of that boner tail from the Evenstar caster set)... And only on armor that actually justifies having it...
The old armors that count as both Head and Chest/Legs and Feet, being a good example where it wouldn't look out of place.

People seem to be thinking armored tail = a tail fully encased in armor like a worm in a metal tube. What I believe OP is suggesting is similar to that 1.0 screenshot earlier in the thread. A set of plate or leather armor can have the tail partially covered to show some protection (and attention to friggin detail like we used to have) without it looking odd. The Evenstar set was an abomination that had to have been a joke by the art team for how stupid it looked. I would definitely like this little detail to come back into future designs but I'm doubtful it'll happen.

This one has the right of it, very well said. This is my intention.People seem to be thinking armored tail = a tail fully encased in armor like a worm in a metal tube. It doesn't have to look like we're wearing some kinda gimp suit on our tail.
The comments here only show me how, limited your imaginations are, but she gets it

You're welcome.
