If we get a new Scion/Archon...What should he/she be like?

I'm not sure anyone could fill Minfillia's shoes, but yeah, I don't like how it was left with the Scions. I'd like to see them rebuilt.
So... I'd like to see a Thaumaturge for obvious reasons! Any race will do as long as it isn't a lalafell! There are far too many of that race with that class.

I would also love to see a Crimson Duelist (Red Mage)

As for Minfilia? Her shoes are easy to fill as she was merely a figurehead with less practical uses than Queen Elizabeth. Her bra on the other hand is like way too big for every other NPC.

I am 100% certain it is a viera and she uses a bow and is just straight up badass!!! She will be introduced the closer to 5.0 we get.

I would be fine with her. In fact that would be super awesome. Plus Viera are also from Othard so it would totally be like Hanaryo.

Minfillia is as much of an example of a good leader as Alphinaud is an example of a bad one. The Crystal Braves were a bad idea and I enjoyed giving them all a beating at the end of all of that. She led with grace, intelligence, and wisdom and she did it all without any fighting ability. That's my opinion. I am okay with you not agreeing with me

Queen Elizabeth is only in charge because the people let someone dictate who is "noble" and who is just a "peasant".

Minfilia and F'lhaminn was the canon V1.00 connection to the 2.0 game. Thancred, Y'shtola and Yda&Papalymo basically got upgraded to Angst, Blind, Dead and Dead. Also don't forget everyone who died just before Cid is re-discovered.

The problem I see is that the game can't really introduce anyone else as it cuts screen time (and voice acting budget) from the rest of the cast. That's why the job quests have no voice acting. Unless another race is found, anyone else with the "echo" is likely to not be discovered within Eorzea or Othard. The way the Au ra race was introduced into the game (by having Yugiri masked) was at best clumsy.

And I'm still annoyed how Papalymo was thrown under the bus, it didn't feel like a dramatic sacrifice, it felt like "I was fired".
