Anemos Vs Mendacity gear?

As a MCH I have gotten both the mend set and anemos set including both guns. And unsure which is superior

Most will say mend since item level but idk

I just got the Tsukuyomi weapon recently so that might Trump both weapons for now. And idk how important stats are or if they matter at all

If you are not doing savage it doesn't matter that much but, with anemos gear you can gear up multiple jobs even without savage. I use anemos gear on my left side and menda accessories on my right side for sch and smn. this allows me to use mendacity and anemos both. also i started to gear up my tanks now with menda and new raid gear. If you are doing savage, idk the answer i didn't do it.

Isn't the main stat better in most cases than the extra 200 stat on it?

I do admit I've heard ppl claming that anemos weapons are better than the mendacity and the new primal weapons but that sounds absurd to me

It's not really based on the idea of sets. If you have interest in mastering the class and increasing your DPS. Then I would suggest you taking a look around on the internet for some BiS lists.

From my understanding, MCH is a little complicated when it comes to gear and is based on the GCD you want to reach with skillspeed breakpoints.

But, as the above post mentions if you're not savage raiding, I wouldn't be that concerned.

Take into consideration that you can now purchase polish / weave from one the vendors in Rhalgr's Reach allowing you to upgrade the 360 mendacity to 370 ilvl for 3k centurio seals from hunting.

Best In Slot (BiS) doesn't are about sets because there are no set bonuses anyway.
Individual pieces can be best. Stats lost can be balanced out by materia.

Right now it's Anemos vs Mendacity vs Savage gear (plus byakko and new trials for weapons).

For the most part, the end result is a mixture of Mendacity and Savage gear. Though a few jobs have eureka gear come out on top, or very close enough for a temporary option while working on BIS).

I would recommend not just looking up BiS lists, but also learning your job's stat priorities so you know what to pick as good alternatives when you're still working on your BiS.

Mendacity will trump Anemos gear because Anemos gear will always be stuck at i355. Mendacity can be upgraded to i370 with Doman Polish/Weave.

Now that everyone can upgrade the mendacity gear to 370, Anemos gear is not really as relevant anymore.

The Anemos weapon however I would say is better then the mendacity (non upgraded version) as it is not too far behind in weapon damage (only like what 1 or 2 behind) plus all of the slots that you can meld material.

For Jobs that i use once in a while however, like doing Roulettes and what not, the Eureka gear will suffice

I thought it might be on par with the mendacity weapon if substats not on par, but can you confirm or deny if that's better than the new primal weapons? I mean those +2 WD makes me think that it's impossible that it's better

for weapons 99% of the time you should always take the higher item level. Only exception would be something like the i365 vs the i370 if the 365 has better substats, until you can get the i375 Diamond weapon. WD and main stat trumps all.

Ye I know that WD is king, but I can't undrestand why some1 would say otherwise, I mean anemos weapons are debatable, but tsukuyomi's? doesn't seems like so
I don't see how some extra stats can beat +2 WD at all, yet there are some that insist on telling me so that I'm starting to be paranoid
