Well MCH can't have a Zodiac Brave weapon because it's a new Job we're helping create as we go through it, so there's that.

While the job may be new, the Weapontype isn't. Otherwise, by that logic, all those 'antique' allagan/belah'dian/*insertancientcivilizationher* weapons shouldn't exist either. :P

I think it's because, well, why not just release the model somewhere else? In this paticular case, Lux is now outdated content. And the reason other outdated content does get weapons is because they're much easier to get, letting them be upgrades. Nobody is going to do the RDM/SAM lux to upgrade, which is what a lot of people did them for in HW.

I'm aware, and this is the only reason why I begrudgingly accept them not providing older relics for newer Jobs.
That said, It's still kind of a shame. I mean, let's say somebody is new to the game, freshly unlocks RDM, planning to main it. They now want to go do the HW-Relicquests for the first time, but, lo and behold, don't get to do so on their Main, 'cuz reasons'. I get that these weapons are not endgame anymore, but it'd still be a nice gesture to those who do the quests for the first time.
