Guess the gimmick of 5.0

I can't think of another gimmick that would actually be any fun or wouldn't feel unnecessary. I loved flying, but swimming lacks any real depth (ha) and seemed more like it was added in to get more people interested in SB than actually suiting the tone of the pack. The Ruby Sea felt like wasted potential.

I'd rather we get Viera more races, character customisation options and more detailed, immersive zones than another novelty feature.

Honestly have no idea, Space was mentioned once but that seems a bit unnecessary.

You know, this is actually a good point... because we can't even climb ladders.
All I can think of is space travel (not interested) other than that... Which I don't think would be a thing (I mean, we can already teleport). So... Maybe there won't be a gimmick?



Also, they seem to be releasing expansions every two(?) years, so expect something in summer 2019, not summer 2018.

Climbing would be interesting. Provided it doesn't ruin jumping puzzles.

Upgrading job stones would be super interesting. Bring out the Black/white/red wizards, the black belts and who knows what else!

you mean beside reskining ARR like hw did, just like how SB reskined hw. The same 2 dungon expert, the same 24 man raid, the same 4 x 8 man, the same token bloat from the 8 man and 24 man, the same overpriced mog station items, with more buyable retainers then now and the 3 beast tribe areas, one crafting? ..... Maybe multiverse

What level is your culinarian? If it is not 70 yet I would put all that salt to good use

I'd like to see swimming expanded on more. A subterranean focus could be cool, giant caverns filled with glowing mushrooms and crystals, but other than that... All I know is that I hope we don't go to space.
