Can we get a icon next to interactable items when you are in the housing menu/list? Seeing as there is a limit to how many you can have in your home before things start vanishing, this would help to keep tabs on them easier.

-being able to pick your own window style and placement/height.
same with lights. chandaliers are static at the moment. we cant adjust positioning of chandaliers to say, fit under a loft made with troupe stages.
-Or give us the option to remove/overlap the standard windows so we can use the regular walls, instead of working around them with partitions to place the windows we want (again by glitching) saving us itemsslot. we all know even a few items can make a difference.
-Or just add Horizontal partitions. so we can make a loft easier without having to use glitches.
-Stairs, to reach our loft. it was a nightmare to make them with shelfs and cussions and get them to work....
-adjustable light setting per floor.
-being able to place piano/cello/musicstand on stages. see 3th link
-glamour dresser for private estate/fc
-also more styles of paths (outdoor furnishing) now we are very limited in what sort of path we have towards our houses. bricks/gravel
-replaceable awning, i want mine over the front door. theres not much u can place underneath it. and matching with wood/composite/stone buildings.
but this is my small house, omega - lavender beds - 11th ward plot 22

Just droping by to say the new Southern Kitchen is amazing. It was something I've been asking since the contest and I'm glad it was implemented.
- More styles of "deluxe" beds - and please, make the existing oasis / riviera / glade beds dyeable!
- a vanity w/ mirror (even if it isn't functional.)
- more clutter items! That new overflowing cabinet is amazing. Items that make a space look lived-in are great.
- "Workshop" items, tools, machinery parts, etc - items for various professions (DoL / DoH) and Jobs.
- The new interdimensional flowers are amazing. Can we have more non-interactive flowers like this? (more shapes / styles / colors of potted flowers! Ones that hang from the wall, dyeable ones, etc!)
- More sizes / shapes / styles of fake windows
- More placeable doors not attached to a particular style of partition. Pocket doors! (could would like the hingan / oriental doors)
- Tiffany-style glass lamps, delicate crystal chandeliers
- White-washed board wallpaper, greater variety of wallpaper shades / styles / patterns.
- More portraits! Scenes of life from around the realm, parodies of famous classical works of art, etc.
Miniatures for more bosses! I'd love to add Ravana and Thordan to my collection.
This has been suggested before, but why can't we change the garden terrain?

My house in Goblet with the Shirogane small castle style would love for this type of terrain..
Why does every single outdoor garden has to have the grass terrain? Considering these textures exist in the game, and they differ from the roads and such maps of the housing area, having it as an additional option for houses wouldn't be out of place to ask for.
(Maybe have this terrain for shirogane castle walls projects pleaaase?)
Akin to the blank partitions we can wallpaper, I would love to have large thin floor tiles that could be "papered" with the different floor coverings. It would help offset the lack of rug options and allow for creation of things like defined dance floors that aren't excessively raised off the ground like the stages are. Ideally they'd be about as thick as a Zabuton Cushion and come in a variety of shapes (square, round, rectangle, roughly 50% larger than the largest existing rugs in those sizes).
More rugs in general would also be nice, especially long narrow carpet runners.
I want to design and build my OWN furniture...my own everything.
Its time to evolve SE.
Please refer to Rift and countless other mmos to replicate this.

♥ MORE HIGH HEELS + INSTANCED HOUSING! ♥!
So, an idea I had was a restaurant and take out idea. Like go to a table with a menu for food - you buy it but it has a wait time to sit and interact. Or go to an NPC at a counter for a buy and go style. All of these are crafted so limited amount. The difference between buying at the restaurant and the Market Board is that it would have the FC "Meat and Mead" bonus on it...and it stacks with your own. The wait one has the better bonus. Maybe allow the Market Board to advertise it - like FC House items tab that you can reserve and it tells you where to go. Maybe even a "meal" purchase that has several crafted items to buy in one go for say a party.
I just really want some practical items in the house, like storage chests. We already have Company Chests, it would be nice to have some standard chests that I can store items into, wardrobes that I can put armor into, seed cabinets that I can store gardening seeds into, and shelves that I can store actual crafting materials into. 80% of my inventory is filled with crafting material and my Retainers are a UI mess of armor sets, materia and crafting materials. I wish I could use my house to organize this system. And it would be great if I were crafting in my house, that it would automatically link my stored crafting materials to the item I'm trying to craft. I know the Moogles at Bahrr Lehs have a in-game model of a shed with tons of materials stored under it, they could just re-use that asset.
It would also be great if beds had the same log-out function as the beds in the inns have.
