Housing Ideas and Feature Requests

not sure if anyone said this cause there's now over 200 pages of posters but...

I'd love if they just added a new indoor housing option called "Minion setting" that allows you to set a Minion (either a set one from your collection or whatever you currently have out) to wander around your home whenever you enter and maybe have a "minion Station" where the Minion will occasionally jump onto and stay there if its close enough so it looks like its interacting with the things around it.

also some generic weapon displays and racks, like what we see in some of the GC related areas

After decorating my house there are a few things i'd like to see either changed or put into the game, i suggest the following.

* Lockable interactive walls (the arrow is annoying)
* lockable food items - the abilitity to take off the interactive mode (just to have them as a item, not to be used)
* add drinking glasses / cups to use a table top item
* being able to dye house walls!!!!!!
* add levels into a house to make it bigger
* lock housing plants - turn off the interactive option

By giving the option to turn on/off inetractive features on housing items will help towards the glitch that makes things vanish due to the limit being reached.
I like alot of people use food/wine/plants to make my house seem more lifelike and not to use them, but the interactive glitch makes it annoying when things just vanish.

Agreed, also Beer mug/steins to complete my bar.

Also the ability to pose housing NPCs, such as put them in a sitting position.

Doors. Literally one door that isn't paper and it clashes with every style of partition of which there is one for each style of house from the first three wards, but for doors there is only mahogany.

Mahogany is nice, but it looks horrible with the glade, oasis, or any partition.

Also a preview feature for housing items like how you can try on gear. Much more convenient than having to search through the housing site or simply taking a risk if it's something I'm making and realize it just doesn't fit anywhere.

This isnt so much a request for a specific item but more a general appeal:

If you create furniture with a certain theme, please include the full set!
What do I mean by that?
Basically what we've got with the Oasis, Rivera and Glade (and to an extend Hingashi) styled furniture - bed, chair, armchair, sofa, table, desk, several type of wardrobes/cupboards... if you want you can decorate your whole house in one of those styles.

And then there are furnitures that are almost there - we got an aweful lot of Carbuncle stuff, certain Slyph-themed pieces and some Tonberry furniture. But non of those allows you to fully decorate your home in that one style!
Biggest offender being the missing Tonberry chairs - we've got a table, but no chairs (and sure, you can put the armchair and the sofa next to it, but...)
So please... I'd love to see more types of themed furniture - some silly, creature inspired things, some more elegant or down to earth (I'd really like to see some Ishgardian furniture) - but please: Full sets only!

I know matching and mixing and coming up with combos can be fun! I enjoy it a great deal myself!
But its also frustrating having to come up with a replacment for something that should be there - like a table to fit the chairs or a bed to fit the rest of your homes style.
I'd really like to see more full furniture sets being released (and by that I mean: Being released as full sets from the start!)

Here is a list of items I feel are missing from the existing sets - with the plea to release full furniture-sets right away in the future!

Tonberry:
- Chairs
- Cupboard
- Desk

Slyph:
- Bed
- Sofa
- Armchair
- Rug
- Floor/Tabletop lamp

Manor:
- Bed
- (Dining) Table
- "Comfy" chairs (you can actually see those in the Manor)
...we've got an aweful lot of Manor-stuff already so the missing bed seems especially weird to me

Basically a full set of moogle-themed furniture - we're having a few pieces already (rug, plushie, lamp, sofa...) but are missing more or less everything.

I love this idea! Mixing and matching is a lot of fun, but I agree it's very frustrating when you're following a general theme and just can't quite get it to work because the right pieces aren't there.
