Keep Geeting 90k Error and Unable to connect to server Error for the past week.

So for the past week I've been disconnecting in and out of game my friends in my free company have been having the same issue its for the Excalibur Server and its only happening to my friends that live on the East coast of America. I'm not sure what the issue is but the game is nearly unplayable at this point until very late at night. I'm guessing due to the fact of players logging off and going to bed during the day the game is nearly unplayable due to the constant disconnects i counted a total of 10 disconnects for myself alone my friend had 5 and another had 6 they stopped playing till late and night and we didn't disconnect again afterwords. I have even contacted my internet provider to see if the issue was on their side and they told me no the signal from them to my router is very strong but the signal connecting to the FFXIV servers is quite weak. Please help

    - Type of connection (wired or wireless)
    - Other programs running while the game is playing (if any)
    - Frequency at which disconnect occurs

    -Platform: Pc Windows 10
    - Error Codes: 900002
    -Connection: Wireless
    -Other programs: Google Chrome, Discord
-Frequency: 5-10 times a day dependent on how long i play
-Attempts to Resolve: Contacted ISP, Reset Router, Mainlined Connection, IP Renewal, IP Config, Firewall Config, Security Config (etc...)

Ive tried every trick in the book to get this issue resolved and nothing has worked. It Always happens throughout the day as if the Excalibur server has to many people online at once and it boots me and my friends.

Could very well be NTT's network giving you trouble. Do you know how to run a tracerts to the FFXIV servers to see?

Open command prompt and Trace route to 204.2.229.97

    Type this...

    Tracert 204.2.229.97

Look to see if you cross over the NTT network.

Hello Shinjisake, Thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums

I apologize that you are still having this issue. Have you contacted your ISP to make sure that the correct ports are opened? If not please try this.

Ensure that the latest version of Internet Explorer is installed on your PC (even if you don't use Internet Explorer), please do not use Edge as that is a different internet platform. Once Internet Explorer is up-to-date, please open the IE browser, open the "Tools", go to "Internet Options" and adjust the following settings:
Under the "General" tab, please delete ALL browser history.
Under the "Security" tab, please move the slider to the lowest possible settings or no higher than "Medium"
Under the "Privacy" tab, please move the slider to the lowest possible settings or to "Allow All Cookies"
Under the "Advanced" tab, please make sure that "Allow software to run or install even if signature is invalid" is CHECKED.
Make sure that all SSL and TLS (EXCEPT SSL 3.0) are CHECKED.
    [SSL 3.0 should be UNCHECKED]
Hit "Apply" to save the settings, and then "OK, to close the Internet Options menu.
Right-Click on the FFXIV launcher icon and select "Properties"
Go to the "Compatibility" tab, and change the compatibility mode to "Windows 7"
Hit "Apply", then "OK" to save the changes.
    Please RESTART your PC now.

Once your PC has been restarted, Right-Click the FFXIV launcher icon once more and select "Run as Administrator"

If the suggestions provided above do not resolve the issue, then there is a communication error.
Check the following Port Ranges on your router/modem to ensure that the following Port Ranges have been opened/forwarded/triggered:
    ▼TCP
    54992 through 54994,
    55006 through 55007,
    55021 through 55040

    Hope to be of assistance.

I've been having this issue ever since the latest large patch appeared..... normal movement doesn't seem to be an issue, but dungeons, raids, trials, etc.... I get 90002 errors extremely frequent during encounters.... Gets VERY annoying. ISP Says everything is fine, PingPlotter shows the typical weak spots through Texas but otherwise everything runs fine. I have zero issues with any other game, videos, web, etc... Wireless/Wired makes no difference. Not a great experience .... All ports open, network settings reset, ran as Admin....

Hello Roakie, Thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums

Unfortunately these are the only suggestions we can provide in this situation. It appears you have tried them all. We are suggesting you make a report with your ISP or try uninstalling and reinstalling the game.
