If your under him you will be hit, you have to be literally kissing his ass to avoid with out issues. So unless your lagging or moving forward I would recommend target side step to avoid. Makes it really easy.
i literally get point blank on him while he's still prepping the blast. I know his spin shows which way he will go before he does it, but I can't always tell because im running to him after a pulverize. Trust me I get the mechanic
