I’ve never done PvP (and haven’t been good at it in other games when I tried it)... how much work would it actually be to earn that many marks?

I see the challenge log does at least have ‘participation awards’ if you play ten matches in a week. How long does a match take?

I mean if we think about it, I guess they always say they PVP team handles the PVP items, so that just plain means that regular team made no hair this time around? What did us that PVE get in exchange for no hair this patch then?

I get a feeling the ponytail isn't in the game yet, it wasn't announced in the patch notes and it was datamined. Let's wait and see what Make it Rain has in store since it should have an updated page soon.

There is technically no such thing as "PvP items" anymore, since they don't do anything in pvp. So all items gotten through wolf marks are pretty much non-pvp now, just glamours.

You guys are unhappy that you have to do pvp for a hairstyle? Us pvpers are unhappy all our hard work to get specific gear for pvp for stats has been thrown away with the introduction of Stormblood. (I bought many items, pvp and non pvp, to max out my piety and spellspeed for the sync in pvp, only for it all removed, and everybody given the same values).

And the fact that pvp has been dumbed down so much with the ability changes.

Heck, they should make more stuff like that locked behind pvp, that way the queues would actually pop.

There's nothing PvP related that requires you to go elsewhere to obtain it. So taking something that has nothing to do with PvP and locking it behind PvP marks is retarded.
If you're dissatisfied with the way PvP is being handled I'd appreciate that you not insinuate the rest of the community should suffer with you. Why do you think I hate having to farm that many marks? Because PvP is balls in this game and always HAS been.

I would much rather have to rack up MGP for it. Or Hell, I'd even pay for it through the cash shop. But stop trying to coax me into doing the worst content in the game.

It would be nice if they made it (and things in general) available from multiple vendors. Let people choose if they want to grind PvP or hunt marks or MGP to get it.

Speaking of MGP, it would have really made more sense to lock the hairstyle behind that aesthetication NPC that's in the Gold Saucer holding that one other hairstyle from the hair creation contest years ago.

Why are people so salty about it being locked behind pvp? There's so much more in the game locked behind PvE, and it's not some ungodly hard thing to get.

18k is literally nothing, you could get that hairstyle in a day even if you lose a ton

Lol but give access to both sexes to these - so make it 8 new cuts. Lol I’m a straight dude but tbh, the female hair styles are awesome. I play a male character and it stinks not too get some of those styles for males. I mean, hair is hair. You have girls nowadays that a rocking a guys cut, and males rocking long hair. Just unlock them all already
