There is technically no such thing as "PvP items" anymore, since they don't do anything in pvp. So all items gotten through wolf marks are pretty much non-pvp now, just glamours.

You guys are unhappy that you have to do pvp for a hairstyle? Us pvpers are unhappy all our hard work to get specific gear for pvp for stats has been thrown away with the introduction of Stormblood. (I bought many items, pvp and non pvp, to max out my piety and spellspeed for the sync in pvp, only for it all removed, and everybody given the same values).

And the fact that pvp has been dumbed down so much with the ability changes.

Heck, they should make more stuff like that locked behind pvp, that way the queues would actually pop.

We already got plenty of afkers before this. Then they nerfed the exp and wolf marks for non-wins. And we were still left with afkers. Not much difference there. Now we'll just have to wait less. Overall it's a win, I'd say.
I swear, when pvpers get thrown the tiniest of scraps, PvEers complain, when they get so much more all the time.
Who knows, maybe new people will pick up pvp after getting the hairstyle, maybe some would actually enjoy it if they tried while doing so.
