I can get a party without that much problem but its always a PL party. I'm trying to say almost all lower level partys are PL partys and its dumb. Too many people are leveling lower level classes with PL. If you already have everything at 50 this might not bug you but its going to keep people away from the game.

Must primarily be people who already have at least one 50 who don't care to take their time with other classes. It's not like PL is that much more potent in xp gain than xp parties either - just people being lazy or uninterested. There are ways to fix this. Petitioning to have PL removed is not the way.

Get past the lower levels and you'll find there should be plenty more xp parties at higher levels. Not even that far, after 30 - 35~ xp parties are much more popular.

30-35~ partys are more common cause its hard for a PL to live the mass of mobs that they gather.

Besides, since it's not that much better xp then people won't mind that it stays. Changes are to be expected of course, however.

The reason people do PL parties is so they can be away and still get exp. If we're going to allow for such a thing to be in the game then lets go a step further and allow bots. You might think their completely different things but their not. Bots allow for people to play a game while away and be rewarded for it. The current PL system allows for players to be away and get rewarded for it. Only difference is one requires two people to be active while the other does not.

Like I said, changes are to be expected. Even Yoshi said that he is not against PLing so long as the players aren't all afk while the PL does all the work. I agree with that basically.

There are some fixes that can be made and some balancing, but overall complete removal of PL is something I don't agree is necessary.

I think we can agree the PL system as it stands needs to be changed at the very least. I would like to see PL more focused on healing the party rather then killing for the party. I know that I might not get that wish but if they were to make it so people outside the party that has claim can't get hate then it would make it less effective. Something like that would pretty much kill the mass PL links but not get rid of PL.

Regular grind parties are much more common on Lindblum, that's for sure. I barely ever see a PL shout. With the level of xp gain we get with chains and - at higher levels - strongholds, there's no reason to not do xp parties.

PL is not a an issue and is working as intended. To each his own.

Another thing I noticed is most of the people complaining on these forums about PL are low in level. Before jumping on the PL rage bandwagon, did you ever consider the lack of regular parties to be due to there not being many people leveling classes that low anymore?

Are you sure your on Lindblum? I've been seeing a hell of a lot more PL party shouts than party shouts. I rarely see low level party shouts.

Only time no PL parties are being shouted for, they are out at camps stealing mobs from regular parties. I've had to defend/take over a camp from power levels. Luckily, we overpowered them and was able to take more mobs.

It just gets annoying that PL is what a lot of people doing now. I have a friend who got PL to 45, and she has completely no idea how to heal properly, what cause more hate, etc. It just gets old fast and it definately effects everyone else.

It can do with some changes, yes. I wouldn't say it's a pressing matter in the current circumstances the game finds itself in.

I actually did one of these for a little bit the other day, and I agree it needs to be fixed, very boring I much prefer a good xp party. The problem is this will be done alot if the option is there i feel.

Too many people are getting PL'd so there are next to no partys below the PL line. That prevents lower levels from leveling up without a PL. Leves are kinda slow to level on due to the hike to the camp not to mention they're limited in supply.

Funny you should say that. I've been level CNJ, THM and ARC in legitimate parties. I've even run into the issue where other legitimate parties are at our camp.

Are you sure you're not just on a low population server?

That said, the "drop from party and kill" thing needs to be fixed. But the general concept is fine.
