I just use the extra time to multitask, especially if its Praetorium.
In fact, I even PREFER Praetorium to Castrum for that very reason.

Eh. Not having the ability to skip the cutscenes is a little annoying, but there really isn't a point in staying angry about it. Ever since the change, I've had some really fun conversations in party chat while the cutscenes are playing, and it makes it much less unbearable.
Yes they are in their right to do so, just as im in my right to get annoyed that they are holding up my (possibly) short amount of gaming time for something they can watch later! Also; that convo with Gaius is piss boring when you get it every. damn. time and you cant skip at all, not one word, nothing!

If you're short on time, the MSQ roulette isn't the way to go ^^;;;. You should do beast tribe quests or dailies. As a healer that would often hang back to guide them back to the group after cut scenes, I like the change!Yes they are in their right to do so, just as im in my right to get annoyed that they are holding up my (possibly) short amount of gaming time for something they can watch later! Oftentimes, I just use the extra time to help people with tips like don't forget to pickup your magitek or this is how you use the cannons...
I spammed sound effects the last time I ran it. >_>
I think you should simply refrain from going to main scenario roulette. The increase in reward is to align to the time involved in the roulette.
The change was made because people used to actively abandon new adventurers to rush to get their reward without a single care that they are in some way, ruining the conclusion of the story for new players.
Now, after the changes, in my experience, the people in these missions are often new adventurers and they all enjoy it much more than before.
Also, asking new players to watch the movies at the unending journey is not acceptable in my opinion, because the experience is not the same. It is this type of thinking that led to the abusive behaviour which forced them to make movies unskippable in the first place. In truth, we have only ourselves to blame.
Finally, please excuse me, but I personally find it ridiculous, that with the slew of new roulettes to earn tomestones and experience, that people still attempt to argue that the main scenario roulette is a necessity for earning tomestones on a daily basis. This is simply untrue and is a very weak argument.
These are missions for new adventurers, they are not for you, if you do not have a lot of time as you say, what made you think going to the main scenario roulette was a wise decision~?
