Sword is beautiful! But the engravings on the axe trumps all.

The sword may be beautiful, but it barely resembles a sword at all. It doesn't even try to look useful in a battle, which was my main gripe with some of the Ifrit loot as well.

I gave up on lvling PUG a long time ago because the class was so useless, but recently I started lvling it again..because I saw those Moogle plushie BOING BOING pugilist weapons
I have to be 50 when they are released *_*

I also like the CNJ weapon a lot, it's so sweet and beautiful and totally fitting those forest-loving moogles

I'm in the same boat as this. If these plushie boxing gloves go squeek squeek when you are pummeling on things, that'd be so awesome too. Finally a reason to lvl pug

Open the "Planned Content and Concept Arr" at the bottom of the page. Page 9 is Garuda axe and bow and Leviathin spear.

Irl certain weapons made other weapons obsolete yet we find these weapons coexisting at the same time in game. Just gotta remember it's a game, not real.

These weapons look like the free junk you usually get from Holiday Events. I can't believe they are making these the reward for what they have billed as a very difficult battle. Unless they are extremely overpowered (which I doubt) when would you use these ridiculous looking weapons?

Save the Plush Toys for Holiday Events. Award useful, cool looking gears from actual content.

I hate these weapons... Please give us real rewards for difficult battles and save the cutesy stuff for holiday events. FFXIV needs some real content and real rewards... You might as well bring back the bell ringing if you give us such s****y rewards from fights.
I love the look of FFXIV because it's more "real" and has more potential than so many other games out there. I feel "cute" approach should be saved for other games.
