    As others have pointed out already. The changes make playing DRK way more bearable and it's a good band-aid. But its little more than that, all the core issues remain with the class, and outside of top 1% of players most people will still find DRK clunkier to play than PLD/WAR

    Whether or not it is, hitting every auto attack to have 100% TBN usage -> break rates is absolutely maddening and some of the least fun I've had on any job just to perform only as well as its peers. This needs to be addressed. Paladin gets to block a lot of that simply for existing, and has ways to increase those chances.

    I think with the new changes we are going to see a number of shifts in things. Dark Mind being 1 minutes cooldown and 30% magical mitigation default means that dark mind and shadow wall can cover every magical tank buster right now, with rampart being freed up on dark knight for additional fluff mitigation. Add that together with TBN for things like aoes plus autos and we are, from a defensive stand point defensively, in a very strong place post 4.3.

    Not sure where I suggested that. While it's effective for autoattacks, it's also annoying to use much in the same way the new implementation of Dark Arts is.

    When you state that the kit is lopsided for tankbusters, it comes with the implicit suggestion it is lacking for everything else such as auto attacks, fluff damage, or raid-wides, when that is simply not the case thanks to TBN.

    The thing is that all the changes for the DRK are oriented towards making it a better MT, it doesn't give it anything to be a better OT. So that puts the DRK in competition with WAR, not PLD.

    As for being OT, the PLD and the DRK will have the same dps, except that PLD has intervention, which I think is superior to TBN (when the DRK is OT), add to that: Cover + Veil + Clemency + Passage Of Arms, even Tempered Will + Cover, even if I think it's a bad ability because of the 3min CD. (please SE, put it on a 1min CD, even if you put the duration to 5s instead of 10, and I would be happy)

    That being said, the drk changes give him a place he didn't have before, that of the best MT from a personal defense point of view, so I'd say we'll possibly see: DRK/PLD for prog, WAR/PLD after that. But honestly I think a lot of people will just go straight to WAR/PLD for a better dps.

    i am glad that DRK gets two off-gcd enmity skills, wich will make my life as offtank a lot easier when i have to grab adds ^^
