I can't stop looking at your hat..With all the potency buffs going to Drk prepare to see the Drk/War meta return for max tank dps in raids. Silly Paladins the time in the sun is over now cower behind your shields and bear witness to the might of the DRK again! Its too bad the PLD/DRK were close to a dps balance they just needed to add more team buffs to DRK.
When you see someones glamour with non matching boots

Better yet, all this just speculation. Just wait for the damn notes before assuming the worst.
If DRK goes to have better dummy DPS than PLD, PLD will still be useful because it's better for progression and offers burst DPS as opposed to sustain DPS. With three tanks there's *always* going to be an odd man out, that's just a fact; there will always be an optimal composition and a meta. As long as Paladin is still good, then it will not be an issue.

Well since I got a stocker I play on a all PS4 team were currently on 3rd Forsaken god Kefka for reasons. We dont have fflogs cuz were not parsing but I can tell you currently I do a 4020dps V4 dummy parse. Plus how can I be compared fairly to other paladins who already have thier ilv 375 weapon. I didnt even know i had a FF log lol , trying to discredit me based on those padded PoS is your mistake sir. Besides you dont understand my post Im not worried its more of a public service announcement.

Then you're already above the requirement and have nothing to fear.

As long as *you* can defeat the SSS dummy consistently, then it's just a matter of knowing your team can as well, and that you're learning / properly executing mechanics.

TIL as long as you have the meta comp, the run auto clears otherwise you're fucked upon entering instance. Thanks OP.

Hey, I'm all about that, and I'll endorse that. It's just a !@#%ty position to be in if you only have the time / inclination to play one thing.
Meta in most games usually only applies to the top bleeding edge of players. Mythic(WoW) or Savage/Ultimate(FFXIV) Players who do not have the skill level nor do the content where that 1% advantage matters do not need to rely on the meta. The meta is ultimately not for them, and the majority of stuff you can do does not need any meta to progress.

Well, you're likely breaking the law by doing so, as well as endangering yourself and the other drivers.
Except it's not? Your implication that meta composition and strategies necessarily expose players to great risk is unfounded; it's often the opposite. Not only that, comparing it with the risk of injury or death in real life is plainly ridiculous.Because that is exactly the kind of situation with the average duty/party finder party and the meta.
The main issues I see are players being pressured/forced to play jobs that they may not want to and players overly relying on the community to solve/optimize encounters for them.
Following the meta will generally make the game easier, though it may not make it more fun.
