    Tokens work well with gear upgrades, important stuff. RNG works well with flavoursome items like mounts and minions, it's not arbitrary. If these lootboxes were added to roulettes then it wouldn't work adding fireworks, since you would only get 10 a day, the worst item you can get should be a silver coin to vendor. Whereas with Eureka and POTD you can farm those indefinitely if you choose to, so it makes sense the RNG reward pool is more diluted - assuming you choose to grind for the item you're going for. It's all optional

    "It's Optional" is a weasel argument. Playing the game is optional too. Gachapon things are only fair when the rewards are things that are not market eligible, and limited in scope so you're not opening 1000 boxes of fireworks. Like I'd be less concerned if all it gave players was items the player didn't have so the loot table shrinks over time and once you've had everything you can reset the loot table.
