well the Japanese trailer translation implies that Aashi (did I spell that right) killed/harmed a female companion of ours, so likely Yotsuyu/tsuyu is the one thats harmedDunno about this... while I get that some people like Yotsuyu and would like her to have a redemption story (making hat two female antagonists in the same expansion), I feel we'd be fighting the Primal because: it's our duty as WoL's, plus the danger Primals are overall. Saving her is probably a lost cause.
If she becomes a Primal, then she's going to die. She doesn't have the Echo, so she can't pull off a Shiva and will instead fizzle away like Louisoix and Thordan. If she summons the Primal, then odds are she might be tempered by it and would then need to be executed because of that.
I don't think the WoL would be so pissed off at him if she was a lost cause.
In any case, I'm going to be disappointed if he manages to get away from this incident unscathed unless they make his eventual downfall extremely satisfying, though I'm honestly not sure what kind of role he could serve past this story arc since he's not going to be able to pull the same stunt again and unless he becomes a Resonant (Assuming he isn't one already and we just don't know yet), he doesn't seem like much of a physical threat.
The thing I'm most curious about is what the heck Zenos is aiming to get out of this whole matter, because he seemed pretty resigned to his fate at the end of Stormblood, and I'd think if he just wanted to fight us again he'd be more direct about it.

I have a feeling the Zenos in the trailer-
-is just a copy created by the Primal. Same can be applied to Gosetsu (which can probably mean the trailer is showing us what happens when you fail the DPS check/add phase. Zenos wins, kills the memories with Gosetsu and the Primal/Yotsuyu massacres those Yotsuyu abhors).
Zenos' dialogue in the trailer could even just be from an Echo flashback.
Even if his dialogue was from a flashback (Perhaps from before we "killed" him), it still leaves the question of just what it was he wanted Asahi to do for him and why.
He was made "his chosen agent to sound the warning bell", but just what is it he's trying to warn everyone of? He doesn't seem like the sort to do fear-mongering by spreading the news that he's still alive, unless his intent is make a grand return to challenge us again, plus we're still not sure whether or not it's even the real Zenos and not an Ascian meat puppet.
I think I'm more curious about how 4.3 is going to play out then any other patch I've been around for, honestly.
It might sound cruel but I really hope that they go that way and not another redemption arc for a person that has done such horrible things. This way they would show that we cant save everyone.Dunno about this... while I get that some people like Yotsuyu and would like her to have a redemption story (making hat two female antagonists in the same expansion), I feel we'd be fighting the Primal because: it's our duty as WoL's, plus the danger Primals are overall. It think the japanese trailer is still talking about a female foe. Which would make it Yotsuyu since she is not really our companion anyway. (We only take care of her because she lost her memory)
Letter from the Producer LIVE Part IX Q&A Summary (10/30/2013)
Q: Will there be any maintenance fees or other costs for housing, besides the cost of the land and house?
A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.

Dunno, the DRK questline and HW kinda already touched on the we can't save everyone part

All of this assumes there will be a primal in the first place... while more trials than not are primals, the possibility that it's not isn't something that should be discarded.
That does leave everything up in the air, but it's nice to not be able to predict how everything's going to go for once. The protagonists will come out on top, of course, but what's going to be lost in the fire remains unknown.

Well they did say "face the new Primal introduced in 4.3 at E3" in the Live Letter, so...
Would be awesome if we get thrown a curve ball and the incoming fight is Yojimbo.
I am still curious if the new crafting stuff may be the daily crafting quests for 4.X since we are done with the two new Beast Tribes introduced in 4.X.
