Thread: Guesses as to what the new mystery MSQ trial coming in 4.3 will be? (Spoilers)

I've seen a lot of people thinking it's going to be a Zenos rematch, but I feel like it's a bit early to have us be dealing with him again when they just revealed that he's somehow alive. A final confrontation where we put him down for good feels like it would be the ideal way to bring a close to Stormblood, assuming they even go that route and don't instead elect to have him play a role in the next expansion somehow.

I'm personally thinking that Asahi intends to carry out that "reckoning" he mentioned earlier with some manner of Garlean superweapon, and that's what we're going to be dealing with instead.

Of course, they could also throw us for a loop and have some new primal show up out of the blue, which makes me wonder if there's a god the Namazu or Lupin favor.

Yeah, Asahi's my bet as well.

Well, him or Yotsuyu as she's featured pretty heavily in the art.

If it's a new primal, it might be a pretext of the Empire for yet another invasion of Doma and Yanxia as a whole if a similar situation with Baelsar's Wall is repeated. "Look, we tried to make peace and the treacherous Domans consorted with a beast tribe to summon one of their eikons!"

Yotsuyu is giving that mirror a lot of attention (it seems)... is it possible that could transform into a Primal (like Susano or something)?

It could just be part of the “identity conflict” thing, or perhaps it even has personal significance.

She could also have some kind of important information locked away in her forgotten memories, that could either trigger her remembering, or just be relevant when she regains them.

Are they keeping the same format they did with HW? Dungeon dungeon, Trial, 8 party raid, Dungeon dungeon, 24 party raid with each patch or are the mixing it up now?
