Yes, because anyone with money or a disposable income is dumb....wait, what. If you're going to argue that people who spend money on things that they like are idiotic, then...wouldn't everyone paying for the sub of this game and yourself be collectively drawn into that conclusion?Because whales are dumb and will pay for anything. That being said... these outfits are awful looking and the quality doesnt even come close to paying 18 bucks for it. It's ridiculously overpriced for such a stupid looking outfit that looks like a shite korean mmo ripoff.
Let's stop the hyperbolic statements just because people spend money on things that they like, even if you don't agree with it or might want it but can't afford it, as if it's some otherworldly concept to spend money on things that you want in life with your own money.
Not against you here. I do wish it was cheaper, I think $18 per character is too much.Yes, because anyone with money or a disposable income is dumb....wait, what. But I'm not gonna call you an idiot for having it.
And you're basing that on... what, exactly? Once that idiotic subscription app was announced, past performance was no longer an indication of future performance. Especially when content keeps getting delayed in patches (4.3.0 is looking pretty thin now) while the announcements on what's new are all mog station, all the time.
If it walks like a F2P game and it pushes addons like a F2P game...

I wouldn't buy the outfits, personally, as I do not have the necessary funds for such luxury based items at the moment. However, even if I did? Eh...it's not my cup of tea, honestly speaking. They're "okay" looking in my opinion and I would much rather spend the money on the flaming fire wheel mount since at least that's account-wide.
I will agree with everyone here that the outfits should be account-wide, there's not really much of an excuse except financial greed. If I can spend, oh...I don't remember how much it was exactly, I think it was $30, for the fanfest Summoner Yuna outfit a while ago and that was account-wide, it won't kill them to make China/Korea or other glamour options (like that Carbuncle nonsense) account-wide.
Literally, every single one of my alts has my Yuna outfit. I call bs on them not being able to make Mogstation outfits account-wide.
Ya. I would consider the outfits if they were account wide. The Nezha set for example. The leggings and shoes look great on my Lalafell, and I could make a good set for my Au Ra using the chestpiece. But if I wanted the look on both, that's $36. And I still wouldn't be using the full set. Account wide would, at the very least, let me consider more easily, and make me more often to buy it.I wouldn't buy the outfits, personally, as I do not have the necessary funds for such luxury based items at the moment. And since I KNOW the statement is coming, you know, "Your character can do everything you don't need alts." Then why would it be an issue if nobody uses alts, since they wouldn't really lose money then, right?
we didn't had the cash shop in the first year of ARR, and surprisingly, we didn't had less content than today. 3 dungeons per patch, ex primals, lots of relic quests, pvp, housing, raids, treasure maps, beast tribes... all that stuff was introduced back then. and then they reworked WAR in the meantime and developed NIN...
all without extra money from the cash shop.
Not gonna lie, I'm tempted to buy the demonic attire. Has anyone gotten it yet? Are you happy with it?
Course, back then SE was trying to establish ARR rather than shoveling money into a seemingly eternally in development VII remake.we didn't had the cash shop in the first year of ARR, and surprisingly, we didn't had less content than today. 3 dungeons per patch, ex primals, lots of relic quests, pvp, housing, raids, treasure maps, beast tribes... all that stuff was introduced back then. and then they reworked WAR in the meantime and developed NIN...

That no subscription based game in it's right mind goes Pay-to-Win. That's a Free-to-Play model. They're not going to start selling top end raiding gear on the Mog Station. That's just an absurd assumption to make even for hyperbole in an argument.
