Is that stretching, or just them trying to make the wings look dirty?I'm not happy with the mogstation, but setting aside that, if you ask me the quality of the wings (texture, animation and how they are attached to the body) and halo are bad (and it's not the first time), in special compared to other gear/glamour available for free. To be honest, for the asking price is not up to my personal standards. I really recommend to check it out in-game before buying to anyone interested in it.
I can't tell.
You guys know that SE is losing a lot of players, right? because the contents in XIV are lack of longevity,
to balance this, SE HAD to do this, they are optional, right?
So, if you want more contents, more dungeons, go & ask for more Mog station stuff, not less
it's a simple logic
Hmmm I think you missed the whole point. The price for these are based on request that people make. So complain most likely a large ticket item. For the Role player part, really? Yes they are partially aimed at role players that enjoy looking the part ( not the best but can mix and match ) not all in general hence PARTIAL. Proving my point people don't understand simple concepts.1) I am not complaining about the items going away from region exclusivity. My complaint is how much these are.
2) I am a Roleplayer. You're telling me these outfits are partly aimed at me? Because if so, they failed hard, because the price tag does not make me want to buy them. And yes, they are optional. 95% of the game is optional. I don't have to raid, or craft, or gather, or even level. That doesn't make a complaint invalid.
There is no such thing as two different entities from two different higher-ups. If it was the case we would have a specific producer affiliated to a specific team. But it's not the case, as we can see here.
I don't really know from where this idea came first (and I'm opened to any source, of course), but it's not really true from what we really know outside of rumors. I know it's something that people like to claim on this forum, but... It's just strange to me as there is no proof of it. And it's even easy to check from the end credits. ^^'

Pls pay some respect to those "whales",Because whales are dumb and will pay for anything. That being said... these outfits are awful looking and the quality doesnt even come close to paying 18 bucks for it. It's ridiculously overpriced for such a stupid looking outfit that looks like a shite korean mmo ripoff.
without their support, you won't be here,
because contents in XIV are dying so fast, to support your instant gratification game play,
SE needs to release content every 3 months, that requires a lot $$$ to develop
People can paint it many different ways, but I find there is no disputing that it is cooperate greed. So the question becomes how much is too much? Should all released outfits be cheaper than the monthly sub? Should we only release a pair of outfits once a month? Per patch?I gotta put it up here, so I'm not every other post. I mentioned the two weeks because we got 2 outfits that were $18 each just a couple weeks ago, and they did it again. With how much they are, it's getting harder to ignore how greedy it sounds. And the excuses I tend to here are getting annoying. It's optional, which is true, like nearly the whole game is. I get told they're so high because it helps the server, even though it feel like we're going backwards from Heavensward. I get told it's just a few hours of work to pay for it, but I could use that money instead on something like paying my girlfriend's sub for a month, so she can play with me.
When a glamour option costs more than what's meant to be a month of access, it's a tad annoying. If I wanted both of these and one of the last outfit, that'd be $54. Know what else I could use $54 on? Oh, isn't Dark Souls Remastered coming?
These are not the questions asked by the execs. They ask questions like, "How often does the average westerner get paid? Bi-monthly? Excellent! Do we have the resources to release the second set in the next two weeks? Good! You WILL make them demandable so we can charge the same price, yes?" Every single word of it translates to, "Go out there, and make this company some effin money."
It is also difficult to weigh value. An 18 dollar price tag might seem unfair, but you also have to remember that it is a one-time fee, not the cost of a monthly subscription. I get your frustration though. I can count at least a dozen things right now that I would love off of the cash shop. All I can do though is not succumb to the temptation, and work with the items that are obtainable in the game.
