Forum etiquette - double-posting vs separating ideas?

If we're going by this logic, I suppose that also explains why you post? Since we're making generalizations here?

It's certainly why at least a dozen people on the English forum post who have large post counts centered on the general forum, because they don't add anything to the conversation, and are just waiting for that one person they don't like to post anything so they can jump in and add a sarcastic retort that that insults the person.

As I said, I've managed big boards before, and those who spend a great deal amount of time on the forum, just want to be seen.

Trust you on what? You offer no factual evidence or statistics to back up these massive generalizations.

There are studies on this, don't be ridiculous. Anonymity makes people act differently than they would in a physical setting, because anonymity lowers inhibition.
