The virtual currency "Moogle Coins" in the FFXIV Companion app must be removed

Reading the digest posted yesterday, I think it’s interesting that the mod posting didn’t even mention the coins. They just let the slides speak for themselves. I’ve been hoping they’d either post a thread addressing our questions and concerns, or at least post a reply in this thread, but they aren’t going to acknowledge that people are unhappy.

Acknowledging us means having to answer questions they probably aren't in a position to, like the expansion plans for Mog Coins and what the prices are, why they think a subscription on top of another subscription is reasonable, etc. I will be looking forward to the swift demise of the app as validation that SE got burned for its greed.

And, honestly, a "We hear your concerns and are working to address them" post would probably incite more rage because we know there would be no meaningful follow-up until months later, if at all. It's going to remain unaddressed because they don't have the necessary information or skill to defuse the powder keg. I wonder what would happen if a major games news outlet picked up and ran the story, though...
