The virtual currency "Moogle Coins" in the FFXIV Companion app must be removed

Sure for right now this is the case. But then again so many of you keep forgetting that this is just the first service that will be tied to Moogle Coins. They've already stated more will be added to it, so where do we draw the line? Where do we say no to them? Do we wait until it is too late and the line has been crossed so far there is absolutely no turning back? Or do we let them know now that this is unacceptable and nothing else should ever be tied to a micro transaction for the game? Personally I think we should push back now to prevent them from thinking we're totally okay with more stuff being tied to pay walls and micro transactions.

This is how I feel. Using the Moogle Coins for the MB is going to affect crafters and gatherers the most, but those are fairly niche interests. It will affect me and I don't like the change but what worries me most is these future uses they have hinted at (something they have surely researched and already started planning for).

I understand why people looking at the present situation might think 'wait and see' is the most sensible approach, however I don't think waiting until more micro-transactions are actually in the game is in our interests, once they are in, I don't see them ever taking them out.
