Not if they implement Blitzball correctly!
We could host like a real game, make teams and root people on for whatever side, and even bid on the winning team or something.
Would bring some E-sports(?).
I don't like BB either but some do and with that idea it could being people together.
It seems fun on paper anyway but that too, would probably be short-lived lol.

It was shallow, unimaginative, and boring in FFX too. It always amazed me, they went to all the trouble to design and build this entire system for playing underwater soccer and they leave out the most crucial component to that experience... the 3-dimensional nature of the field. They make a BIG F'ING DEAL about how spherical everything in Spira is and then when it comes time to play underwater soccer in an enormous water ball... it's on a 2-dimensional plane. What?

Honestly I'd rather SE not waste their time on minigames here. This game needs actual content, not Lords of Verminion 2.0.
