As a person who used to sell raid runs, the buyers only gets a page for their clear. They don't get loot because the majority cleared. The only possible scenario is after the raid goes irrelevant. In the case of UCoB, people buy that with real money, which happens outside the game. Ultimately, the app will have limitations, so I don't know if you'll have full control over the price changes and whatnot.

EDIT: Oh, I almost forgot. Some people get that gil from RMT services, anyway.

Do you realize how much gil you need for that? Extra retainers can only do so much, and I doubt that if they ever implement gil selling in the Mogstation, people would spend several hundred dollars for a savage clear (and if they do, it's gonna be an extreme minority). These people invested most of the time either crafting/gathering or botting like hell. Or using RMT services for gil. Like both Kaivac and myself said, the app will have limitations in regards of how many actions you can take in the marketboard, which you seemed to have ignored. In regards of the weapon, that's not even the best weapon, being the O8S the best one for most classes. Following your logic, it would need 8 weeks for that, and that's a shit ton of gil.
