Was that announced as coming next or still in the works? Are we getting a plate per gear set or are we still limited to 10?
Ah that makes sense about the glamour prisms. Honestly seemed like a dumb idea from the start though. Pfft. But yeah, smart move and it makes me really happy.Based on what I've seen in places like Facebook and the Novice Network, the dresser change is likely a response to the sheer number of support tickets caused by people destroying gear and then wanting it back. Since you needed it for Eureka, lots of people ran into that. Many of them have no idea that Calamity Scavenger exists. For other gear, it spawns support tickets that have to be dealt with.
This is a smart move.
I mean, most of the patch looks good. That's the frustrating thing. The app nonsense and the alliance loot change are just so out of left field and WTF worthy that they've absolutely buried everything that we should be excited to be talking about.
It truly is a shame, but you're absolutely right. Those are just so terrible that it's hard to think of anything else. But do I dare to hope that they'll listen? I mean, they did listen at the outrage with the housing situation... so maybe... just maybe .. they'll actually reconsider this. I mean, I'm not holding my breath here but we'll see.
I'm really confused on the loot change though. What even made them think "Oh yeah, this is a great idea!"?? I mean.... okay, I guess because it's catch up gear maybe the idea is that people will mostly use the gear for their alts. In which case, if it's their alts, then maybe they want to play their main class. Soooo, lets let them play their main class to get gear for their alts! Honestly that's the only thing I can think of. But it's just so.... ugh. And the app nonsense. Dear god, SE. NO. I feel like we need to put SE in time out or something. Downright naughty.

「Life is such a fragile thing…」
Any changes to the locations where plates can be applied?

Don't praise them that much though or they'll believe they have done everything and won't bother improving features further, for example I expected them to have increased the number of plates and the places where the dresser can be used and it was not mentioned at all!...
In my personal case, I need the Glamour Dresser system to have more plates (35+), to have more places where it can be used and to have macro support in order to change outfits fast, until that happens it's not really useful because it has a limited potential!...
What they needed to do (and didn't, and probably want us to pay for it), is to have 3 plates per job (15 jobs, 9 classes, 8 crafting jobs, 3 gathering jobs) which comes up to 35. One designated as "normal(eg combat/crafting/gathering)", "costume/event (eg swimsuits)" and "cutscene", and attach the plates to the gear sets. If a plate is designated as "cutscene" it will be used during cutscenes instead of the normal gear being worn.Don't praise them that much though or they'll believe they have done everything and won't bother improving features further, for example I expected them to have increased the number of plates and the places where the dresser can be used and it was not mentioned at all!...

But that's just making it harder. They could just put 35 plates in and let the player decide what to use them on.
It's the latter. It has nothing to do with who is allowed in, it just lets people +1 like your house, or leave a message (oh boy, am I the only one who thinks about the 20-year-olds in my FC and their penchant for constant dick jokes when they read this? There are going to be people who do nothing but go around and leave rude messages while they're bored/queueing. We'll see. Maybe it'll be heavily moderated and have a slew of words that can't be used.)EDIT: @Squirtina; OH YEAH. Thank you for reminding me! I'm also super excited about the guestbook for housing. We don't know much about it at this point but if I had to guess, I assume it allows access to your house only to those on the guestbook, which is pretty much what I've been wanting since forever rather than this "it's either open or it's closed" scenario we have now.

This in a nutshell. I want more of the raid story, and the gear itself from it looks amazing. I want the deep dungeon. The glamour dresser changes are solid, and some places also say we're finally getting it tied to the gear sets? If that's the case I can officially use it, which is all I could've hoped for, really.
And ofc the bunny outfit. Cuz that's a 4.3 thing as well I think :3c
Re: why not just add a glamours log, I think it's a storage issue. Because it means they need to potentially save twice the information for everything in the log for you, log entry + actual item. They're saving up on space by forcing it to still be in your inventory they just give you a system to manage the whole thing. Twisted but what isn't in this game and its legacy code, sadly

I'm guessing it would be limited to specific phrases, much like PvP chat is now. E.g."I like your house!" or "Hello, neighbour!"It's the latter. It has nothing to do with who is allowed in, it just lets people +1 like your house, or leave a message (oh boy, am I the only one who thinks about the 20-year-olds in my FC and their penchant for constant dick jokes when they read this? I hope so. Maybe I'm just a salty old person on the internet, but, well. I'd regret the loss of ability to explain to someone why I like their house, but it's probably better than allowing some of the phrases I've seen sent in tells in this game.
