YES! Being able to use it on squad members is really nice! Now I just need to be able to use it on retainers too and I'll be super pleased.

I'm also looking forward to the new beast tribe as well. I always enjoy the crafter ones (well.... ok, I enjoyed the moogles. I can't say I enjoyed the Ixali, hahaha...) so it'll be nice to get my last few crafters up while also getting my beast tribes out of the way. I hope that their story is interesting ~

EDIT: @Squirtina; OH YEAH. Thank you for reminding me! I'm also super excited about the guestbook for housing. We don't know much about it at this point but if I had to guess, I assume it allows access to your house only to those on the guestbook, which is pretty much what I've been wanting since forever rather than this "it's either open or it's closed" scenario we have now. But admittedly this will make the housing section a lot more closed off I think as many open houses will close only to allow friends. But I could be wrong on what this is entirely. It could just be a literal "guest book" where people can leave comments about your house telling you how nice or terrible it is, hahaha. But I would hope not because that's kind of silly and leaves people open to harassment from people who are angry and want their house.

The mannequins are meh to me but I know a lot of people were asking for a way to show off their favorite gear so I'm sure it made a lot of people happy and even though it's not anything I care about, I think that's a good addition.

Of course I'm happy for all the new MSQ and dungeon content too. Also really excited for the doman reconstruction... I really love watching how those areas change in the game over time. Always fun to see them grow.

You can already use it for retainers in a roundabout way - equip the gear you're giving the retainer, apply the glamour plate on yourself, and then remove the gear from your character and equip it on the retainer. I agree that it would be nice if they made it simpler, but I'm fine with them leaving that for now as I'd prefer that they prioritize things like increasing the number of plates and the locations where you can apply them.

It's the latter. It has nothing to do with who is allowed in, it just lets people +1 like your house, or leave a message (oh boy, am I the only one who thinks about the 20-year-olds in my FC and their penchant for constant dick jokes when they read this? There are going to be people who do nothing but go around and leave rude messages while they're bored/queueing. We'll see. Maybe it'll be heavily moderated and have a slew of words that can't be used.)

I'm guessing it would be limited to specific phrases, much like PvP chat is now. E.g."I like your house!" or "Hello, neighbour!"

I hope so. Maybe I'm just a salty old person on the internet, but, well. I'd regret the loss of ability to explain to someone why I like their house, but it's probably better than allowing some of the phrases I've seen sent in tells in this game.

I am one of those 20-somethings,and I hate my generation and its stupidity sometimes. I have been a salty old man since I was a child lol.
