Unfortunately I don't remember either off the top of my head... I'm trying to find it as well but not sure how to access reports of fights where we didn't clear. I might have to get back to you later and find his name in-game, on the contacts/recent party members list. I do remember they had a kind of a long first name that started with E.

Both healers and a DPS in the group claimed he wasn't really mitigating much at all, and considering he folded like tissue paper to many of the tankbusters, I'm willing to take their word for it. We had a few aggro issues as well (but that may have been a different group, they all blended together after a while). I could always be wrong and maybe the healers weren't that great, but we cleared with them just fine after we found new tanks. It's really weird, haha.

EDIT: The log I'm looking through isn't even the one I uploaded. It was uploaded by someone else... That's weird, I know I put one up there last night.

If you click on Demon Chardanook - it'll show you the list of encounters uploaded (including wipes).I clicked on "all wipes" to look. I don't see any names that fit, and obviously if he folded like paper there was an issue.

To give you an example of what I was looking for is maybe he was using cooldowns, but maybe he was using a poor CD rotation, maybe he wasn't being shielded, maybe DPS didn't use their mitigation skills either. Another thing is maybe he was using CDs, but maybe he was bad and using them late and they weren't in time, etc.

Data like this is super helpful in the moment because you can say to him:

"Hey you're not using CDs, please use them" or "Hey, it looks like you're using CDs late and they're not registering, you lagging or something? Try pushing them earlier and see if it helps".

Imagine if you're the frustrated tank because you're dying. You don't understand why, the party is yelling at you saying you need to do X, but on your screen you're doing X and still failing.

I'll give you an example - an old static of mine I would take a TB and it'd chunk me hard, not kill me though. I'd wonder why is it that when I pug I take so much less damage. I look at the logs and see, no shields for TBs, no Feint, No Troub, No any external debuffs, strictly 100% just my CD...

The thing is, what if I made a mistake and pushed my CD too late (East coast lag baby)? I'd fold right over. If other people were contributing i'd have survived. I was curious to 1) see a tank who didn't mitigate at all or 2) curious if people made assumptions without the data.

I should just not talk to people ingame ever. A simple question ofcourse got twisted out of context and turned people freaking toxic. Here's the story. I que into rab, all things look ok as everyone loads in. We get to the first boss and it's instant pulled. Lucky for me I set up my buffs as monk already prepull. But no count down or anything. Second boss same thing.. only this time I was caught off guard as I was clicking loot. Fine whatever. But we nearly wipe cause people can't read. Like noone in my party went to the spot we're posed to be at. Only me and one healer. RIP. They clear it but I never get raised so I had to port to the beginning and teleport back. Low and behold.. I'm locked out. I used the teleport but it's whatever.

My mistake was asking why is everyone pulling so fast. Que the entire chat crying about why I didn't port when I did. It's not my fault everyone or a gun hold tank wanted to be sonic. But what's funny is in my head I'm thinking.. how you going to make fun of me being on a PS4 when none of you can apparently read? I only died cause NO ONE STACKED. If I were to throw their shade back at them it'll been least I can READ! Apparently PC players can't. but that'll be wrong. So kept that in my mind. Why are people so lame?

So I did 50/60 roulette as a healer yesterday and got The Antitower. The PLD who joined popped all of his CDs at once when he entered the dungeon and i was just like "ok, maybe he's just trolling". After walking randomly around he started pulling the first group of mobs by using flash while only hitting one of the three monsters. The other two started attacking me but he was just busy auto-attacking the one he used flash on.
After i told him to get the aggro of all mobs please he just stood there, like a Sim waiting for commands, but did not say anything.
Nothing changed with the following packs and he didn't pop any CDs anymore (maybe he thought by using them once it keeps them up for the entire duty?). After a while we reached the first boss, the big frog. When the adds appeared, which turn 2 of the players into frogs, he of course didn't bother to kill any of them. I probably don't have to mention, that he also took the debuff from the bubbles and didn't avoid any aoes.
After we finally got the boss down, i quickly voted to dismiss before someone was able to open the treasure, to not have to spend any more minute with him.

I guess he was either a troll, bought on eBay or just simply not able to play properly (or all three combined).

Wow, I’m not sure I even know where to start on this one….

Sirensong Sea, load in with WAR, WHM and MNK while I am on SMN. I am a new mom in real life, I say so in chat and apologise ahead of time if I need to brb etc. Everything seems cool.

Our group is low damage due to gear and level. WAR doesn’t say anything as he begins pulling, he is only getting small groups which is fine. At the third lot of enemies the WHM starts to complain that he/she would like bigger pulls.

MNK chimes in that our damage is low – especially as WHM isn’t casting any damage dealing spells. WHM continues to complain and even out rightly tells the tank that she won’t be giving him a commendation because of this and then begins to say that she is doing the bare minimum in regarding’s to her job in the party.

While the WHM is complaining in the chat the first boss starts. I state I don’t remember the mechanic. It’s been a while since I’ve run this dungeon – since I levelled my AST – and I haven’t gotten it in levelling roulette for a while either. Anyway we kill the boss, but I accidentally got too many stacks on myself, as I’d forgotten this boss, and die right at the end of the fight. I apologised twice.

WHM proceeds to tell me off, especially as I’d left my mentor crown showing, stating that perhaps “mentor crown isn’t the best option as people will expect more from you blah blah” “shouldn’t play games if you have children blah blah”

Pretty snap judgment from 1 death.

I also didn’t realise that it was a heinous crime to forget 1 mechanic. It’s not like I was constantly being healed or raised. I also didn’t realise that once I had a baby that meant I had to stop doing anything I enjoy outside of nappy changes and bottle feeding.

On a side note, have you seen some of the mentors in this game? I ran WoD with several yesterday who died in first boss by not following any mechanic at all.

I died one time in the entire run in Sirensong Sea, and apologised, and she didn’t even have to raise me as respawn due to boss’ death.

Tank eventually gets sick of this WHM and tells them to shut up. WHM proceeds to complain until we get to the end and the run finishes.

Baby never woke the entire dungeon.

I honestly cannot get over someone doing only the “bare minimum” just because the tank was doing small pulls. It really made no time difference to the completion time and the dungeon would have been quicker if the WHM had cast damage spells and help kill the mobs. What’s wrong with these people?

Ignore the foolish white mage...black list etc....sadly you will find people who are just dense to things like common decency.

I know that feeling. Ran Hell's Lid with an AST who refused to use a sect....I don't even know what they were attempting to do. Got my head bitten off for suggesting they put one on....

Also, Ravanna boss....why is no one killing the Moon add? Is this a thing now that we just ignore them and wipe 3 times?

i just came back 2 weeks ago after a 4 Months Break and it seems the Dungeon Runs got much Salt and ignorance in it i dont know how other i can describe it usually since i came back iam the only one who greets and say thx all at the end of the dungeon others remain silent the whole run or when they speak something like Tank pull more xD (and i pull a lot) at onepoint i was told to pull more and there was not even something to pull anymore ....^^

I'm sorry that's how you're return has gone. Hopefully you just got in some bad groups, sometimes I think people just can't be bothered to type hello. I'm on PS4 and as the keyboard sucks I sometimes use the auto-translate ^^ but it would be nice if people always said hi ^^

Just got out of a o5 normal run in my hunt for a bolt. Everyone was great except for the monk.

This guy dies immediately at the start (on purpose, it became apparent) and refused raises the entire fight. We did manage to clear without a wipe and just before we did (when the boss was at about 2%), the monk accepts a raise and as soon as the boss is dead, he opens the chests. He then proceeded to not roll on anything, run around, laughing at us, telling us "its just a game bro", "so much salt bro".

First person I've ever actually reported for harassment. I suppose we could have wiped and vote kicked him because he ended up rolling on one of the bolts that a few of us needed (and he won it).



Update: Spoke with GM Xithultor just now. What a quick response! I've never reported anyone before but it was just so blatant what this person was doing. Kudos to GM Xithultor for starting the investigation so quickly!
