how important is the house for you? do you really need it, or do you just have a house because it's rare and you don't wanted to miss out? and is it worth for you to pay the sub just to keep the house, without actually playing the game in the next months?

With how the housing system is in this game...yes. Most other MMOs would just give one to each player (for free most of the time) without the need to keep logging in to keep it.
